The two girls working dressing rooms today were spending all of their time hidden in a cornet not giving anyone dressing rooms. Also they were wearing store merchandise with the tags still on & security tags. Which tells me that they are wearing merchandise while at work that they’re putting back on the rack to sell. The ladies working the counter were working hard but “Lala” and (I didn’t get the other girls name) were sitting on the counter on their phones while people were waiting for changing rooms.

Really cute clothing options for my daughter, but I too had a run in with a grumpy elf. If you have the app, you get a 10% discount as advertised throughout the store. Showed the app, rung up. Walking out... wait did you apply the discount, cashier says yes. Look at receipt... nope. Grumpy elf was called over to fix. No eye contact, clearly annoyed. Good thing we found some tops we loved... will buy the rest online.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. Not a single person asked if I needed any help and when I tried to ask an associate if I can get into a dressing room she looked at me and said, “I am busy right now”, then proceeded to walk away. Also received multiple glares there wasn’t a single friendly worker there, major mean girl energy in this store.

Today I went into Garage looking for a couple tanks and a dress I took screenshots of the stuff I wanted to buy and proceeded to look for my items (nobody offered to help ever) I was able to find the things i wanted except the dress. After a good minute of not being able to find it I finally decide to ask one of the two girls there to help (the one w/ curly hair) I showed her the screenshot and she said “well I can’t tell what kind of dress that is”, when it clearly showed the style and the name of the dress, she proceeded to say the dress was on clearance and that they most likely didn’t carry it, then she turned and proceeded to start hang clothes again. She didn’t give me any other option or showed me similar dresses, nothing, it’s like she couldn’t careless. Finally I decide to just checkout and the other girl goes onto cashing me out. Meanwhile I’m standing in line (I’m the only customer in store) and I don’t hear a “I can help you here “ or even “next” she just waved her hand at me to get closer, she only asked if I wanted to be a member and what my total was, but she was like mumbling her words, to top it off the music was really loud so I couldn’t hear her well. However you could tell this girl either hates her job or she’s just this rude. She didn’t smilie at all it felt more like dirty looks and after handing me my bag she didn’t even say thank you or anything she just walked off without a word. I’ve worked in retail before and I can tell you I have never seen nor experience just horrible service like this ever! Avoid yourself the rudeness people just shop online.

Giving this place a 4 star because my daughter likes their products. If it were up to me, I'd give it a 3 star, cause even when they offer sales, it's still so expensive.

I went shopping today (5/26) around 5pm and when I went to checkout my cashier had the audacity to tell me “These shorts are the only thing I’d wear in the store, all of this other stuff i would never” while gesturing her hands at the clothes I picked out and that she was ringing up, and the rest of the store. Considering how many times I’ve been here over the years I’ve never had a bad experience till now, she must be new.

If I could put no stars, I would! My brother went to go return clothes he gifted me because I was personally didn't like the style and instead of refunding it to my card, she refunded me 1 cent. She realized what she did and kept repeating "oh shoot oh shoot oh shoot." He had the receipt and it was within their return policy. After she realized what she did, she claimed his only option was store credit, which IN FACT I did not want. Why would my only option be store credit when it was her mistake? After him waiting almost 30 minutes, he just gave in for the store credit because it seemed like the whole process was too difficult for her. She claimed she was the manager but very much lacked manager experience. Her name was Alika so anyone who refunds from Garage, BEWARE!

Stopped in recently on a Sunday to check the store out but was sorely disappointed. The clothes were very cute, but the store has really taken a turn for the worst. Garage puts a huge emphasis on customer service, which is one of the things that really made it stand out amongst other juniors’ stores, I guess the new staff didn’t get the memo. You used to be able to walk in, someone would always greet you and help you find what you were looking for. If you were trying on a lot, they would offer to set your things in a fitting room while you continued to shop, they would offer suggestions, honest opinions, and different options on everything you would try on. You could tell that the previous staff wanted to make shopping in their store enjoyable for everyone who walked in. That is not the case with this new staff unfortunately. No one was acknowledged when they walked in, the whole staff stood behind the register and talked, some of them on their phones. Customers were walking around trying to find someone to help them into a fitting room but none of the employees seemed to care. You know it’s bad when the employees at Forever 21 are nicer and more helpful than here. Some of the visual merchandising of the store was nice but everything was messy. I know weekends are busy and it can be difficult to keep up with recovering the store, but when your team of 6 stands behind the register and watches customers shop instead of helping, it makes you wonder how the store doesn’t look worse. The biggest shock was the real lack of leadership in the store. It used to be easy to walk in and see who the managers working were, but not anymore. I’d be surprised if a single one of them were managers. There was clearly no accountability amongst the store leaders. The previous District Manager helped me shop the last few times I was in and she was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the brand and the products, her customer service skills were off the charts, and she showed incredible leadership skills. It’s pretty obvious the new DM doesn’t hold those same standards of excellence since they would allow the new store staff to ignore their customers. If I could give this shopping experience 0 stars I would. The only saving grace were the cute clothes and the very sweet cashier trying to keep up with the line that was forming while her co-workers let her struggle. It’s a shame to see how terribly wrong this store has gone since the previous staff has left. Hopefully I was just there at a bad time or even a bad day, but from the looks of it, this is the new Garage.
