Love Ann Taylor but customer service is dead at this store. If you’re in your 30s or below the customer service reps likely won’t approach you. Doesn’t matter if you come in casual clothes or business casual after work. Honestly quite disappointed with the lack of service at this store. Will only be visiting if returning purchases from online.
Edit: I read other reviews after posting and realized this issue is not related to age. Do better Ann Taylor!

3 shoppers -3 employees- not one said a word to a shopper. $$$$$ mistake - wonder why brick and mortars don’t work - hello and kindness can go miles- let me know if I can help you - seriously??? Where has kindness gone ??? We all left

I'm always excited when visiting the Anne Taylor store located on Great Hills Trails in Austin, Texas. Within every visit, I am accommodated by Ms. Sharon with the most complimentary/noteworthy customer service and hospitality. Ms. Sharon is the most professional Fashion Sales Associates I've ever encountered. Thank you for enriching my casual, as well as, business class wardrobe, Ms. Sharon. I'll most definitely return very soon!

Arboretum location - Strangest experience.It was the first Friday in October, noonish. I walked into this supposedly upscale store. NO customers were in there except for me.Three employees (it was obvious they worked there) were talking near the register. All three looked directly at me and said NOTHING. They continued on with their conversation, I walked throughout the store, and no one offered to help me. I did have questions, but I just didn't feel welcomed there.As I was leaving, one of them wished me something like a good day.Funny, that same day I visited two other stores in the same area (another one considered "upscale" and the other would be considered an semi-upscale discount store.) I was greeted with a simple "Hi!" and a smile as soon as I walked in.I used to work in a department store and in customer service. Kindness (a pleasant greeting and acknowledging a person's presence) matters.I'm not sure if the employees here are SNOBS or just LAZY. Either way, I have no intention of going back.

First time shopping at Ann Taylor Arboretum and Sharon made it a wonderful experience. She was so friendly and attentive. The clothes were great quality and the store was clean and well organized, but I have to say Sharon was the best part. Thanks so much, Sharon! Hope to see you next time. :)

This was my first time ever shopping at Ann Taylor. I was looking to purchase a suit for work and I looked online before going in-store and picked out a couple of styles I thought I’d like. I didn’t love anything I tried on. Long story short, Sharon provided excellent service by styling me into the perfect suit. Her expertise helped me understand which styles looked best for my body type. Sharon was so friendly and professional, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Very Poor customer service. I am a long-time follower of the Loft and Ann Taylor brand and frequent shopper. During a recent visit, a wonderful Rep, Sharon, recommended the Loft/Ann Taylor card. Each time we deal with Sharon, it's a great experience. Sadly, she was out this afternoon. The store noticeably operates poorly when she is out of the office. Today, the clerks were very short, dismissive, and did not offer assistance until my husband asked the clerk to start a dressing room. While trying on apparel, one of the clerks was very rude and abrupt with my husband while he waited for me. I have seen gentlemen waiting for their partners on several occasions but have never heard any clerks be rude or abrupt with them before. I am very disappointed with this very poor service. I am not certain about the motivation behind the poor service. I certainly hope it's not something petty. I still love the Ann Taylor brand and Loft and will continue to follow online. However, I will not expose my husband to further poor service or disrespect.

I like Ann Taylor clothes. But this specific location does not prioritize their customer service. I experienced the worst return/exchange experience ever here - not once but twice. The first time I ended up being charged twice instead of getting a refund - turned into 30 minutes of a manager trying to get to the bottom of it and make it right. The manager was very nice but it was honestly a terrible use of time given it was an associate's error in the first place. The 2nd time, they were only able to give me a partial refund for my purchase, even though the return was within the required window. And again the associate couldn't give me a reason why or adjust it. Will keep my purchases online and be sure to avoid this location moving forward.
