The absolute best most personal pharmacist ever!! The story is too long to tell, but here’s the nutshell …I needed a new compound hormone in my cream and it was the first time the doctor had added it to a cream note:another doctor referred me with bloodwork to get it. The owner, Lisa Kocian caught that it was very high dose and asked me about it, I called my doctor ( who knew about Lisa’s reputation and expertise on hormones) and Lisa talk to my doctor and they corrected the prescription. This could have been very bad for me if they were not so awesome and knowledgeable.I can’t praise these people enough!

I have used Gibson Pharmacy for over 7 years! And I will never go anywhere else, they fill prescriptions Super Fast, the staff are always friendly & professional, They have a DRIVE THRU, & DELIVERY SERVICE (Local) OPEN,ON SATURDAY UNTIL 2 PM, Bonus: they have an Old Fashioned Soda Shop inside, malts, shakes, & candy, I love Gibson's & love supporting local small business instead of big corporations

Gibson’s has been in business for a long time in Athens and as a pharmacy has a very good reputation, one that I agree with but when it comes to how they treat their employees it is a totally different matter. I know first hand that an employee was treated so mean by management and in a consistent manner that she had a panic attack in the Parking lot requiring a trip to the ER. Both the owners and Ramie were told of the situation but neither went to go check on the employee. Instead she said she wasn’t walking that far. So thankful for the stranger that came to help from the gas station. So if your not tough skinned and you don’t like being treated rudely, you will probably want to consider working somewhere else. Do better Gibson! After treating her this way the least you could of done was pay her the vacation she earned by being a loyal employee!

The employees at Gibsons are the absolute best! A friend of mine had a last minute Rx called in and the employees were kind enough to wait for her to get there after they closed. Our appreciation is boundless!! Thank you!!
