Stay away from from Parkplace Mercedes Arlington dealership service department. Went in for wheel alignment and to get “active drive assist inoperative” warning message cleared in my SLC300. Service advisor had no clue that active drive assist warning message clears out automatically once wheel alignment is performed and steering wheel is centered. I was charged $319 for alignment and a separate $240 for clearing the light. Service advisor said work is done and asked for payment. After making the payment and as soon as I drove off the lot “drive assist inoperative” warning message popped up and steering wheel was not centered. Drove back immediately to the service department. After a long argument I was told that if I replace the tie rod and cross strut and come back, alignment job will be completed. So I got tie rod and cross strut replaced somewhere else and went back to the dealership again today. I was told that they will charge again $319 to get the alignment job completed which I already paid. Imagine my shock. And in another encounter at the same service department, I went in to get my C250 fixed. My car was kept for about 10 days and service advisor called me after 10 days and told me that they are unable to fix the issue so come and pick up the car. When I went to pick up the car, service department was unable to locate my car on the dealership lot. After searching for over an hour it was discovered that one of the technician drove my car to his home. So I waited outside with the service department manager as dealership had to close as it was after hours. They had to track the technician at his home to get my car back. I also found out that my car was driven quite a few miles. Imagine this is all happened at the Mercedes dealership at Arlington, Texas.

If I can give 0 stars I would. Probably one of the worst “luxury student apartments” I’ve stayed at. It’s not safe, dirty, stinky, and community is just so trashy. If you have extra money to pay I would get a nicer apartment away from any of these “luxury” apartments.1. parking is expensive $40 a month to park in a garage where sometimes no space!2. Hallways smell like cigarettes, carpets are dirty with urine stains, trash on the floors3. Roaches are starting to come in my complex and my apt is clean! No pest control has been at my apartment ever since I’ve lived here.4. Doors with finger prints aren’t even locked and the doors for garage some don’t even open5. Amenities are always closed for some reason, and the rooftop is always closed because people don’t know how to act and it’s probably people that don’t even live here that ruin it for the residents.6. This place is a dumpster fire. One of my main reasons why I’m moving out of Arlington. This place is a joke.

This building is poorly managed, the residents never pick up after their dogs so there is dog waste outside 24/7, despite their many dog waste stations. Their dumpsters block parking spots while also stinking up the air outside. Just this week I have been harassed verbally by residents yelling from their windows. It just seems to be fairly out of control in this complex.EDIT (9-29-23): Saw residents walking on some of the roofing, which is extremely dangerous.

To be clear, I'm not a resident. And after reading all of these comments, thank God I'm not!! These apartments sound horrible! But I could have told you that though, from the name! What posers to literally hijack Mercedes to make a name for themselves... red flag #1.All I know is, with the amount that this company us charging college students for rent, their service should as up to par as the name and reputation they're tailgating off of. I thought about subleasing from someone here, but these reviews have shed a lot of light. I'm a social work major, and I wrote a review because it will one day be my job to advocate for oppressed populations! All of these students that live here and probably break their backs working full time to pay this money hungry company are oppressed. I sincerely hope this company gets sued or goes out of business for taking advantage of so many people probably just trying to make ends meet, who think they're getting a "luxurious" experience. What a joke!

Things to know before moving into ParkPlace Arlington.Again keep in mind this MY personal experience and hopefully you can dodge a lot of bullets before signing a lease to this place. If this is your first time moving into a “student apartment” you have to know all the good and the bad. Here is my story..The first issue started before I moved in and signed the lease. I did not get to tour the place I would be living in, so don’t be like me. Go and ask to see the specific unit you will be staying in. I was misled and ultimately lied to so that they could fill the vacancy. I decided on a 2x2 apartment, the floor plans on the company site DO NOT show ALL of the apartment layouts they actually have so unfortunately for me , I thought I would be staying in their 2x2 big spacious unit. The day I got my key and went to look at the room I already signed for I was devastated to find an extremely small room that looked nothing like the 2x2’s shown on the website. I had an 18 month baby with me at the time and there was no room to fit all our stuff, I literally had to leave a lot of our stuff in storage and move the desk/chair out of the room into the living room to fit her crib. I know most students don’t have children but if you do I HIGHLY recommend going to see exactly where you’ll be staying so you can take those things into account. I asked immediately to be moved the unit I THOUGHT I would be staying in and they told me I would have to pay a $$$ fee to move to another unit and take over that person's lease, which keep in mind everyone pays a different rate so I would’ve ended up paying more based on the person in that unit. Personally I thought it should've been free to move to another 2x2 considering the false advertisement. I even told the front desk employee Madison my situation and how I needed space and still she assigned me the 1st floor extremely small 2x2. This apartment only cares about the money.Next up !!! PARKING :)This property DOES NOT have enough parking for its residence because they sell each room as if it is an entire apartment versus in the “real world” each apartment is strictly for one person/family so in turn there is enough space for parking, BUT park places Unit to Parking ratio is extremely insufficient. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE register your car on the first level visitor parking or you will be towed at your own home. It happened to me and it broke my heart that my car was towed ($300+ to get it out) at my own apartment due to Park Place not having enough spaces for it’s residence and the Resident Reserved parking in the garages are always full and hard to get so if you are able to buy a spot in the garage DO IT !!!! The fact that they tow the first floor in visitors is beyond me because majority of the time it’s MOSTLY residence using it because there is nowhere for us to park, we live downtown so it’s a constant fight between civilians and residence, but that’s kind of the price you pay for the convenience of the apartments location.Next up !!! TRASHSince the unit is enclosed each hallway has a trash shoot, but say it gets full then what happens? The hallway reeks , new bug problems come about and that’s exactly what happened. Sometimes there wouldn’t even be a trash bin at the bottom to catch the trash, so because of that people either are lazy and leave stinky trash stuck in the shoot or they walk outside and throw it in the city dumpsters which are constantly being placed in Park Place parking spots taking up multiple spaces needed for residence. I was stopped by a gentleman one morning taking out my trash to the large blue bins put out by the city and he informed me that the bins were supposed to be for the shops, and restaurants that are around our residence and that we were only supposed to be dumping in our shoot. I told him there was no trash at the bottom of our shoot so I just took it outside and plus I lived on the first floor. Sooo yea do with that what you will.Part 2 otw !!!

Absolutely disgusting hallways and apartments. I hope no one gets sucked into this scam of an apartment. There are cheaper and seriously far better options on campus.Everything smells moldy and garbage is visible almost everywhere.

Im a resident here and debating on just breaking my lease and finding a one story apartment. First of all i love this apartment, its my first one and its great. Ive been here about 2 years and my previous neighbor didnt cause me trouble, but my problem is the newer upstairs neighbor. They are so inconsiderate and have kept me up all night and i hardly even sleep. They move furniture/stomp/do anything to be extremely loud and its to the point I believe they do it on purpose because its an every night thing. Ive bought a fan and tried all sorts of things to drown it out, but it doesnt work. Management will not fine them or do anything even with video proof, ive talked with the manager and he wont do anything about it. What a let down, and i really liked this apartment too.EDIT 9/24/23: i am still having problems. Courtesy patrol refuses to come to the apartment and Park Place management doesnt even respond to my emails anymore. I’ve resorted to calling the police on my neighbors and they are the only ones who semi-helped. Park place you should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing tenants to go through this. RUN FAR AWAY DO NOT RENT HERE. It is not luxurious, you will not get any sleep due to loud neighbors. The only nice thing i have to say is the maintenance, they were the only ones who fixed things up asap, thank you maintenance workers. As for management, you are awful people who clearly dont care about your tenants despite my roommates and i complaining about not sleeping. I will NOT be renewing my lease here.

DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS. Do not be fooled by how nice Rachel is. If you choose to live here it will be the biggest waste of money. If you are not in the very first building where they do the tours, your experience is going to be terrible. The hallways are disgusting, trash can be found throughout the entire first floor and they clean MAYBE every couple of months. The amenities are always broken or the areas are dirty. I can see in other reviews that they are claiming they have people to clean but that is either a lie or they only clean the first building/ leasing office and nothing else (including the gym and pool area, it smells rotten up there). For most of the very hot, record-breaking summer the pool was closed. A lot of the maintenance team are very nice but they aren't good either. When I moved in we had broken blinds, a broken chair, and a broken couch. The couch and chair took 8 months to fix. The blinds were fixed a month before we moved out. We also had trouble with our kitchen sink, a maintenance request was submitted. I ended up having to fix it myself and 2 weeks later they came by to change the air filter and asked about the sink at that point. Did they expect us to live 2 weeks without a sink....? At one point there was a very bad leak in the hallway I called maintenance and they claimed they fixed it but it continued for two weeks. It smelled very bad, it was leaking around a lighting fixture, and visually it was disgusting to look at and of course, it made the already dirty hallway look filthy. My roommate then went into the office to report it and they had a terrible attitude about it, almost as if we were wrong to report it. At that point we decided to move elsewhere at the end of our lease considering that jointly we paid $1800 a month to live there and it was genuinely disgusting, the neighbors are terrible and now even the leasing office is acting unprofessional. Once you decide you want to live somewhere else you'd think it can't get any worse... right? The answer is no. When asking them to fill out the rental history paperwork for your new apartment expect to be on them like you are getting paid to be their manager cause apparently that's the only way it will get done. Finally, when we left we were so happy to be done with them, I didn't even plan on leaving a review however due to the timing of when we had to turn in keys I had to turn them in for me and my roommate. We checked with Rachel and she approved this. I turned in keys for me and my roommate to Madison, she informed me that my roommate would have to also turn in her parking pass and she did. Imagine our surprise when we heard from my roommate's guarantor that apparently she owed $175.00 due to "lost keys" and her parking pass not being turned in. Mind you they never attempted to contact my roommate before reaching out to the guarantor AND I turned them in to Madison. Oh and when it was brought to their attention that this was a mistake my roommate was told, "Yeah, these things happen sometimes". Now she has to write a letter to dispute something that is clearly their unorganized employees fault. Why should anyone have to take responsibility for a mistake that they did not make?Paying $1800 (jointly) to live in a dirty building, where amenities rarely work and the leasing office is unorganized and sometimes unprofessional is not worth it. You can find something better in the area, I promise. DO NOT live here, It's a waste of your hard-earned money.

I sit here pondering how to describe to you all my 2 year experience at this putrid place don’t let the nice photos and luxurious roof top getaway fool you this place is a disaster the piss stained floors and garbage smelling halls are just ur walk way to hell not only will they drain ur bank account of just abt any fees they decide to make up along the way the staff is lazy and could clearly care less about anyone staying here if ur staying here to attend uta I’d recommend just getting a dorm room. Something is always broken at this place for the last year I lived here the finger Id to get in was just broken and nobody could be bothered to fix it so you would just have to walk around to the other door to be able to get into the building only to be greeted with the sweet odor of piss this place is run by college kids who could careless which would make sense bc it looks like a frat house. 9/10 times the parking lot is completely full so I’d have to just park at the flying fish restaurant even tho I pay for parking and lived on the 4th floor. This place is a joke scamming people out of there money DO NOT LIVE HERE

I really could not believe the way these apartments looked online versus in real life. First of all, before signing a lease, no one told me what the parking situation was like. I assumed I would have access to parking but when I arrived they told me they didn't have enough space in the parking garage? How do you not have enough parking spaces for all of the people living in the apartments that doesn't make any sense. They told me I could park my car either out in the street or in the visitor parking if I registered my car. I left my car unregistered for an hour and a half on accident one night and my car got TOWED! I can't believe they allow for their paying residents to get towed. I had to pay $350 to get my car back. Second, when I first arrived to the apartment it was clear that they had not cleaned the room I was supposed to live in. Not even a slight clean over, there was cat hair all over from the previous tenant, cat poop on the floor still and overall everything was just gross. I couldn't even sleep there the first night because it looked so bad. The hallways when you enter are no different, it looks like the carpets haven't been cleaned in years. At one point someone walked in with dog poop on their shoes at one of the entrances and I swear it's still there and hasn't been cleaned. They say they have someone cleaning but I never saw the place get cleaned above where they let people tour I'm assuming. The trash room was almost always full almost literally to the roof and I saw mold growing on the wall in the hallway and it seemed like all they did was scrape it off and paint over it. I don't know how that's not totally illegal. Third, I was there for three months and I only got to use the pool once. It was closed almost the entire summer because they were "waiting on inspection from the city that would happen later this week", but they said that for like two months every time I asked. Fourth, I don't think they monitor entrances that well and there were a few times people who obviously did not live there were roaming the building because residents would let people in when they were banging on the outside doors or they would put things on the doors to keep the door open. Finally, what really put me over the edge was that they told me on the day of my move out that I had to be out by noon. They emailed me at 9:30am that day and said I'd be fined $250 if I didn't turn in my keys by noon. It was honestly so ridiculous because I had to pack everything so much quicker than I expected because I was at least expecting until EOD. Overall I don't recommend living here unless they make some serious changes. The girls in the leasing office were always super sweet and helpful and I don't blame them. I blame whoever management is because they need to figure out how to deal with this stuff asap!

Move in experience was terrible. I pay too much for rent. The shower drain was clogged, toilet seat nasty with gunk, freezer doesn't seal when closed, smells like piss, oven has burning oil smell because of burnt plastic, garbage disposal sounds like it's about to explode. On top of all that, their customer service and their response time to service requests is poor. Don't be fooled! I wouldn't do this again.

It's almost August and the pool still hasn't opened for summer. I guess it never will ?Not to mention they're raising my rent over $100 and raised parking to $40 a monthI haven't even been able to use the gym because they close it when the office is closed now. This place is becoming more and more disappointing as time goes on...

Don't be fooled by the pictures! This place is NOT well-maintained! The hallway carpet is atrocious, the elevators are disgusting, trash spills out into the hallways consistently and the common areas are just FILTHY and SMELLY! I cringe every time I have to enter the building! Management is slow to respond to simple issues; like fingerprint not being recognized to enter areas such as the gym! The rent is too expensive for the property to be so unkempt! It has the potential to be very nice, but it will take work, that apparently noone wants to do.
