Top-notch service from the minute I walked in! Shannon greeted me and was an immediate help in steering me to the selection of capris. I told her I’ve bought many items at this same location, dating back to 2007, but it has been awhile since I’ve been in. While I was looking through capris, she brought a few over to me that I hadn’t yet seen. They appeared too small for me but she insisted she guessed my size correctly (because of years of experience) and assured me they’d fit. THEY DID! She carried my large selection to the dressing room while I still shopped. As I began trying the items on, I heard a voice asking if I needed anything. I assumed it was Shannon. It was the other employee, Noemi. I stepped out of the dressing room to marvel at the correct fit of the items and the door closed behind me. I said “did I just lock myself out of the dressing room?” Noemi said “yes, you did, but I can open it back up for you. We open it after one time but the next time, you have to crawl under the door!” And we got such a good laugh out of that!! That was so much fun! They helped me look for some matching blouses. After buying several capris, I told them I’d be back another day when I had more time to look at blouses. They told me when the shipments come in each week and what day the merchandise is on the floor, so that was an excellent tip. Thank you, Shannon and Noemi (NoNo), for your EXCELLENT help and kind service! I’ll definitely be back soon.?

The staff seemed upset when I walked in 15 mins before close on Sunday. I knew exactly what I wanted. I went to the rack to grab the items and was at the counter to check out within 5 minutes. I paid and left the store with 10 minutes to spare before close. No one, however, offered to help me find anything or greeted me, but rather, the two employees that were there seemed irritated that I was walking in 15 mins before close. Not glad to finally have a customer on a Sunday afternoon, but seriously UPSET that I was there DURING STORE HOURS. I didn't even ask any questions, although I did want to know if they had a particular skirt in a different color. Since the 2 employees were so eager for me to go, I did just that. A few days later I tried on the skirt and realized it was too long for a miniskirt. I returned it with the receipt and the store clerk, a different one this time, did greet me and asked if I wanted to look around for a little bit. I declined but asked about the refund policy- she said it would be 3-5 business days before it went back on my card, so I opted for a store credit gift card instead. It took awhile to process the return but I was the only one in the store. Friendlier clerk 2nd time around, but geez! Don't go to Cato when you're in a hurry!

I always find something cute at Cato! If they don't have my size in store, employees will search other locations, or order online. Friendly employees at the Little Rd. location.

I was shopping there 2 days ago, the shopping experiences was good I found several outfits that I like. The problem was same item product that was not marked down with the exact same product. I was told by the Sales Associated and Lead Manager that mark down comes only thru Corporate Office and they are not allow to change prices. Cato needs to reconsider their clearance policy I left their store without anything. Why would I pay higher price for the same product because Cato's Corporate will not give their employees authority to regulate price change. That's business that they lost I went somewhere else.

My New Love ? Beautifully put together store, reminds me of Dress barn. Glad there's still store's like this open, because we all still like the shopping experience.
