Amarillo Family Physicians has provided me excellent service! I was looking for a new PCP and I was scheduled with Dr. Burson, she and all of the other staff are very kind and listened to my concerns and provided great treatment options. I also am currently going to their allergy clinic and it’s been excellent as well! I definitely recommend this facility if you are looking for PCP care.

Extremely selective admission policy. Only accepts individuals with perfect health. Be wary of mentioning any pre-existing conditions, even minor ones like headaches. They seem to only treat issues that arise after enrollment. The business model raises questions about its efficacy and ethics. By focusing on an already-healthy client base, their medical interventions appear to be minimal, possibly limited to basic wellness services like vitamin prescriptions. This approach may be financially beneficial for the provider but potentially offers limited value to patients with genuine healthcare needs. Consider if this aligns with your healthcare needs before signing up.

These are bad people. They don’t listen. They don’t care. They charge you to waste your time. I don’t recommend. Many bad experiences with many bad doctors. They are neglectful and make you feel stupid, unimportant and lesser. No matter the pain you’re in. It’s gross the way they treat people. My family was with this company for years and I don’t know what happened but one by one we’ve all cut them off for similar reasons. Especially if you’re disabled and trying to get tests to prove disability. They don’t care. You come to Amarillo family physicians to pay money and get debt. NOT to get help or to deal pain management help. 0 stars.

I never have to wait long to check in. I can usually get an appt within 2 days. And I never have to wait long to see my doctor. They are all very sweet there.

Love this clinic. Dr. Martin is my PCP. Very caring and empathetic. Very knowledgeable in all areas of medical care. I highly, highly recommend him. They are also open for established patients on the weekend. The on-site lab facility provides a one and done healthcare visit. The FollowMyHealth app is great for communication with your doctor.

My daughter and I both are Dr. Allman and she is absolutely fantastic! I’ve never had a problem with anything there. She and her nurse are quick to answer messages on the portal and handle refills and she is very thorough and helpful.

I’m see Dr Britten as well as my adult sons. He is the best. He is courteous and he listens and I feel like he understands me. I trust him. I wish all my friends would go see him!! I like Amarillo Family physicians. I have been going there to Dr B got about 12 years maybe. I have seen a couple other Drs in urgent care but none compare to my Dr Britten.

My doctor, Martin, is awesome. He's simple, quick, and always has the best advice. The lab, however, is unprofessional and my least favorite part of my appointments here. They do not have the best attitudes and treat lab work as if it's an inconvenience for them. Even today, I waited almost an hour for them to do lab work and it was never done. It was almost closing time, so when they started leaving the lab, I followed suit. Not enough time to do my lab, but enough time to LOUDLY read over my report and do nothing. Wonderful.

Called to see if they were accepting new patients, yes, but not Blue Cross Blue Shield advantage plus. I asked if that was a common theme in the area as I just moved here and the receptionist said no it’s just the doctors at their clinic that are choosing not to accept this insurance. I have tried for five years to find affordable insurance so that I could get into a doctors office and now this is what I’m running into.

My wife waited 2 months for a appointment and when we showed up and signed in. After waiting they said we owed a balance for a past copay adjustment we didn't know about. Was $90, we figured ok no problem, not sure why but whatever. Then they tell us we can not pay this amount we didn't know about anymore and no doctor would be able to see us in the building. Like seriously? They didn't try calling, emailing, and we didn't get any mail and then they just black ball us? Over $90 we were clearly willing to pay for idk what. We always pay in full at time of service and have insurance. They said "there is nothing we can do". So we wasted 2 months and both took off work for what? A small balance and something that should of been easily handled. They could have at least let us know at some point during the 2 month wait. They just don't care about people and seriously got hung up on something stupid. Try calling someone before you black ball them. We are just left shaking our heads and distraught over this and now have to pull our credit report to see if they tagged us for something we didn't even know about. Just a shame. Don't do bis with this office.

They used to be the best, but when the good doctors started retiring, it was hard to find a good one. If you questioned them or ask for additional help they find a way to fire you as a client. And if you miss the first bill even if it's $1, you're fired. They herd you in like cattle and only care about the bottom line $$$$$

Iam starting not to like that clinic if you ask them for a little favor for work they won't do it I only ask for a tiny favor so I won't get fired to ask if I could pack maybe like 25 or 30 per hour instead of 45 per hour and is not easy because there are lots of heavy boxes and the reason I say this is because I have high blood pressure and diabetic and sense it really hot in there I do get sick easily and if I don't get the note saying that or to put me on a lite duty or something so I can keep my job but i guess doctors wants me to get fired ??????
