The produce section was good. The fruits and vegetables were of a good quality and were well presented. I picked up one of their packs of fried chicken. There was nothing good about it. It appeared to be cooked in old grease. Inside, it was dry and hard.
I am annoyed about the way Kroger handles their sale items. There is the Kroger card. OK, I will deal with that. I have one on my keychain. That's easy enough. I bought some cherries and grapes. I saw that they rang up at the regular price. The cashier told me that it was a coupon and not the Kroger card.
The in store plastic card that shows the price says SALE in a large letters. The qualification like Korger card is in very small letters in the lower right. It is made harder to read because the plastic card is inserted so that it curves outward. That obscures the lower portion of the card. There is also something called an internet special, whatever that is.
I don't usually go to Kroger because of this Mickey Mouse stuff. It seems that something that should be on sale and at a prominently displayed price is not for one reason or another. I have watched, and most people do not watch as the register rings up their items. They probably never knew that they did not get the sale price. When I was told that I needed a coupon, I told the cashier to put those items back. She gave me the sale price. That usually does not happen.

Kroger always has the food and snacks that I need, and when I'm looking for craft beer, it has a solid selection... The gas discounts for shopping there also come up pretty clutch.... I honestly choose Krogers and HEB over Walmart any day of the week

I have been shopping here for 20 years inow and know it very well. This is a very nice grocery store with a large selection. The prices are a tad higher than other nearby stores, but the quality of products here seem better. Also the employees here are super nice.

Usually I order cakes and this cake was special for my son, I don’t drive to extreme anxiety and I was able to get a ride early by two hours and was treated like pure garbage for thinking how dare I get my sons bday cake early. Yet friendswood location had the sweetest girl who would make a cake in a heart beat they’re already made all this woman had a o do was throw some white icing but why would she care about a 5 year old bday? Selfish place

It is overpriced, like everything these days. They don't carry ocean perch or perch of any kind, like in ohio - go figure! There are plenty of bottom dweller fish like talapia and cat fish.

Good little Kroger. Self checkout is better than most in Houston. The parking is tight with limited cart corrals. It appears that Alvin,TX, is growing faster than the infrastructure can keep up.

Why do you let these crooks beg in your parking lot? They walk right up to anyone… especially older ladies and they are very aggressive. I have complained about this numerous times and yet they are here again today. Someone’s going to get hurt in your parking lot. Then I will be able to show how many times I have complained and you did NOTHING.

There is no customer service here, twice in one week I was unable to make my purchase. I ask for help at the self check out, they come by, leave to never return without helping. Gonna have to start getting groceries elsewhere.

Store is clean, usually well stocked and efficient. Today, an item I really needed was empty on the shelf. Jett stopped what he was doing, went to the back and actually found what I needed in a reasonable time frame and gave it to me. Very respectful young man. After living in WA state for years and coming back home to where I was raised. I have to say I did not realize how much I took for granted here. The parking lot is clean and safe. There are not people just everywhere harassing you for what you have that they want. The produce is stocked and usually very fresh. Every employee I have encountered here is genuinely respectful and helpful. It is true what they say Mindset/Perspective is the main difference. If you dont understand what I have said go get some perspective and check that mindset. An armed society is a polite society.
