I took a day of vacation and I was suppose to attend a horse tournament for my grandbaby at this farm. She was supposed to learn to do a figure 8 prior to the event. I learned they did not want the mother to help with this event even though the people at this farm were suppose to be training her and showing her how to do a figure 8. They was not able to get her to do the figure 8 and did not want help from her mother even though she was paying for the training lessons. They refunded her money for future lessons and told her that neither her or my grandbaby were welcome back there and told them to leave. That is not professional and neither was the training. Don't waist your time ir money at Bailey Oaks Farms

My daughter(5years old) and I have been riding here for almost a year. The facility is clean, professional and horses well taken care of. Otherwise, the lessons are unstructured, with a high turn over of instructors.Horse lessons (for older students) ($65): arrive 15 minutes early to tack your horse and ride for 50 minutes, untack for the remaining 10 minutes. you don’t follow a lesson plan and barely jump. It’s at their discretion. Mostly we did pattern work. And the more people you share the lesson with the more you’re going to sit there and wait your turn. I heard frequently from the other kids riding that they never get to really jump and definitely don’t expect to show. They only have a select few riders there they invest in like that. You can ask for certain experiences but don’t expect to get it. There is no show for the adult riders. My daughter’s lessons: (pony club)($50): you don’t have to arrive early. They tack with the kids for the first 30 minutes. They then share lessons with other kids riding for 20 minutes and usually end 10 minutes before the hour is up. This means my daughter would sit there doing nothing on the horse for about 10 minutes until her turn came and she would ride for about a total of 10 minutes a lesson. The pony club has had a high turn over of instructor’s. No one lesson built off the prior. I would see her work up to trotting and posting in one lesson and then the next lesson only walk in a circle her entire turn, next to no pattern work. The biggest problem came when I quit my lessons, and became more involved in her lessons and started requesting goals and structured lessons. I would say at the start of every lesson, her goals are a figure 8, it would be ignored and she would just walk in circles. I say her goals based of the (for fun) pony club show they have, and the fact she had reached most of the components. Last year she was walker category, after a year of riding, felt she should be able to handle the next category figure 8, since she has most of the components minus the pattern work. They didn’t like that I signed her up for a figure 8, stating I didn’t ask them what class she should be in. They asked me to be less involved (“back off”) in her lessons and told me it’s all for fun and her progress doesn’t matter. Regardless of what class she is in, I still expect her to build off her previous experience, and requested structured lessons and they didn’t like that either. They didn’t like that I brushed the horse and helped her with tacking. They didn’t show her how to get her tack. I didn’t see certain safety awareness being pointed out like not leading the horse while walking directly in front of it.This disagreement lead to them canceling the remainder of her lessons for the month and her place in the show, refunded me the money.I’ll acknowledge I could have been less vocal during her lessons, but I was completely hands off most of the year and my daughter was regressing. These lessons are expensive and take a lot of effort to maintain. So backing off in moving forward wasn’t an option to me.And don’t expect to ride with your kids, they don’t allow adults and pony club members ride together. We went to another farm right before this incident where we got to ride together and my daughter had a little more freedom to make her own decisions with the horse, rode the entire hour and she did a lot better. And they let her do the figure 8 first lesson, as I asked, and she did it(sloppy but she still did it and enjoyed it), no problems. She has a tailored uniform she will not get wear at this upcoming show. Her grandparents were planning to come, requested off work. This farm and the owner act so elite and professional, but the lessons seem more like a Ponzi scheme, as there is no measurable goals, no structure, high turnover, very little actual riding time so progress will be extremely slow, just have to do what they say to their discretion.

I wish i could say better about this place. I've been coming here for about a year and a couple months. They genuinely care about their horses/ponys, Pablo is a great trainer and has some amazing advice, and when hes in a good mood it's fun to work with him. But sometimes he can be belittling when he's stressed. Ms Claire was one of the best trainers for me, she's patient and explains things pretty well to me.

Pablo and his team at Bailey Oaks Farms is top notch. I started riding with Pablo in 2015 and have learned so much from him. The facilities are beautiful and the horses are well cared for. The whole team goes above and beyond. Everyone who rides there is so nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!

If I could give more stars I would. Love love it here and so happy I found those place. Pablo is a world class instructor and my riding has improved greatly in the few weeks I've been taking lessons. These are my favorite lesson ladies that I've been lucky to rotate between. They are amazing horses, very well taken care of. Sweet and forgiving when you are first starting and as you grow confident and skills improve they respond and can fly you around a jump course....no sure why it cut off my photos ?but trust me these girls are gorgeous!

I absolutely love bringing my daughter (going on 2 years) here to rain with Pablo, every lesson she gets better and has advanced from the pony club she started in to riding & learning jumping on a thoroughbred female Beauty! I love the facilities, they’re always pristine & cleaned to the highest level, I can’t say enough great things about the owners, lessons, & horses. Great job! Keep up the phenomenal work done here & I hope this place is around for many many years to come!❤️ We really appreciate & love y’all!❤️
