Legit street tacos! A place in town that still puts effort and care into what they prepare! Yes, it's pricey, but what isn't in this town? At least I know I actually get my money's worth here.

My husband and I were in Alpine for my daughter's graduation. We would've never seen Santana's, but she took us there. The menus are a bit of a challenge, and there's a large selection. You order at the door/window, and they only take a few orders at a time, so expect a wait. But it was worth it. It was $53 for two drinks and three meals (I had 6 street tacos, my husband had a quesadilla, I am actually not sure what she ate) which is not what you would expect to pay for basically a food stand. There's seating outside but it was very cold so we took ours to our hotel. It was worth every penny and the wait we all thoroughly enjoyed it. If I'm ever in Alpine again it is on the go to list.TLDR a slightly pricy food stand with limited seating but well worth the wait and price.

A great place!!! We had just gotten to Alpine, late, and the clerk at The Holland Hotel recommended it. My nephew plays for Sul Ross and he hadn't eaten there yet. He said, it'll become a regular for him. It's not fast food, but it's great food. Be patient.

Best tacos I have ever tried. I have tried 5 pack tacos. Their corn tortillas are too good. Red sauce is a must try! They have few tables out side to sit but I recommend take out order. Definitely a must try mexican food place in

An absolute gem of a spot in Alpine. Some of the best quesabirria that I've ever had. Great quality, generous servings and a friendly staff.

At first, you may find yourself overwhelmed by the massive menu. Yet, have no fear. The food here is absolutely fantastic. I recommend the birria Quesadilla and my friend recommends the beef flautas. Save room for the Sopapillas.

Thais place stays open late and is a good option for late night food. I got the tacos can’t go wrong cheap easy food. There is a lot to do in this area too great location. You can grab some food here before your night ends.

This is the real MVP of the alpine dinning scene. A gem.Open late, they'll cook your food to order (need fries a little crispy- they got you). Large variety. Mind you, this isn't a place for folks afraid of fat or carbs. This is a Mecca for folks looking for that something different and delicious. It's good they're not open all the time or I'd be fat as hell.Highly recommend crinkle cut fries smothered with asada, and the lime/cucumber aqua fresca.
