1135 Freightliner Dr, Nashville“I worked there for a year. Left them for family reasons. If I ever have the chance to get back in the industry, they will be the first call. I've worked at a few companies, and this company is the best that I have worked at. Great pay. Great benefits. Great home time. Great working atmosphere. I was never without a load for longer than 30 minutes. This company will keep you rolling.”
“Beautiful buildings/facilities. And as mentioned before, it's definitely an interesting location for a hub.Drivers lounge is adequate. Washer & dryer available, pets welcome but not on furniture and bathrooms are clean. If its your first time, don't go to the top of the hill with your semi - to the prettiest P&S building. You won't find any parking up there or a turn around for you.The yard staff & shop staff were cool and helpful in figuring out where the drivers lounge etc was located. As far as company culture and supporting their drivers as stated on their website, it's all smoke & mirrors. A Company I use to trust, but not anymore. Mistakes happen, but I'm not talking about simple mistakes. Mistakes imply an honest unpremeditated oopsie. And our experience was anything but. Onto bigger, better things. Otherwise think twice.”
“I have worked for U.S Corrections and U.S. Prisoner Transport (both companies now merged under PTS) for over five years and have been treated with nothing but respect. When I needed time off for family issues it was granted every time; when I asked for help I was given it.My initial pay grade was minimal, as with any company, and as I progressed in the company I was given raises accordingly. Yes the hours are long when assigned to a ground unit (Vans and busses), however, I and the persons hired with me were told that in our training. In reading the other reviews here, I have noticed that former prisoners and their family members, as well disgruntled and terminated former employees seem to be the majority of the complaints. The company is contracted to move prisoners by courts, sheriffs offices and state corrections agencies, to mention a few. The prisoners transported are treated in accordance with requirements set forth under federal law and mandates. Are the prisoners coddled? No. Are the prisoners shackled and handcuffed? Yes, required by law. If prisoners expect to be pampered while being transported and imprisoned, they have very unreasonable expectations. Don't blame the transport agency or the jurisdiction requesting the transport... don't commit crimes.”
“I’ve been working with Sandy Johnson at Chariot logistics for a short time now and so far it’s been a pleasure . Sandy works hard by sending me daily load sheets and upcoming loads that will benefit me the most .”
