Recently had my Sprinter van serviced at BSG. I went in for a known brake issue and, having worked two large-scale auto repair shops years ago, I had a figure in mind as what I expected to see before ever getting the quote and they landed right in the middle of my expected expense so I was pleased with the price. I knew I had some front end work needed as well and they got me fixed up on that as well. From initial service order to pick up, Big Springs Garage took excellent care of my vehicle & me in a reasonable time frame and budget. I never look forward to dropping off this van for repair because anything with the MB emblem on it is automatically above the usual price-waise, but I'll definitely be calling BSP first whenever it's not a "dealer item" repair. Being able to have a local trustworthy shop who can handle this vehicle means a lot.

Had work done here before (oil change and alignment) and it went great and was affordable. Tried to go back and refer others because I had a good experience (made appointments week in advance) but shop was closed day of and appointments cancelled with no communication. I tried emailing and messaging on Facebook but no contact. I will reschedule the two appointments and future work at another shop. Hopefully they get back to costumers in the future.

⚠︎⚠︎ I honestly never leave reviews but with my most recent experience at Daniel’s Auto I think it’s necessary.. as a warning for others. I dropped my car off for a front end alignment (my car desperately needed one due to the fact my front tires were getting rubbed thinner by the day).. they called me saying they couldn’t do the alignment because I had a bad wheel bearing.. desperate to get it all fixed at once I asked how much it would cost and I was told over $350 not including the $66 for the alignment so I told them I would call them back. I called the parts store to do a price check on the wheel bearing.. $44.. so I called back and asked how much it would be if I bought the part myself and was told $250 plus the $66 for the alignment.. so they were going to up charge me over $100 for a $44 part.. so I bought the part myself and my boyfriend took my car to a friends house who had the tools to replace the wheel bearing.. after taking my tire off and removing the current wheel bearing (the one Daniel’s told me was bad) my boyfriend discovered that my wheel bearing was in perfect condition.. not a single wheel bearing was bad.. they all looked and moved exactly like the brand new one I had just purchased. I’m a female so I expect mechanics to try and give me the run around.. but my warning to all future customers doesn’t end there.. not only did they say I needed work done that i absolutely did not need.. my boyfriend also noticed that they had started to do the alignment then stopped.. leaving one of my camber bolts (could be wrong about the name) loose which could have been very dangerous for me to drive like that.. especially when I have two young children. I am not sure if he just didn’t want to do the alignment or if another job came in that he would profit more from so he came up with a reason as to why he couldn’t do my alignment.. or if they just trying to make a bigger profit off of me.. I do know that he knew how badly I needed the alignment, my tires were proof of that, so maybe they thought I would pay whatever it took to get it fixed.. I’m not sure.. all I know is that they lied to me and left my car in a dangerous driving state. So if you are going to use this mechanic.. make sure you get a second opinion on any work they tell you your car needs before allowing them to do any repairs. I am not leaving this review out of spite I just wanted my experience to be known by anyone reading the reviews for this mechanic trying to decide if they should go there or not. ⚠︎⚠︎

Daniels' does excellent work in a timely manner. It's hard to find trustworthy mechanics, but you have just that in Daniels' Automotive Repair. Would recommend them to anyone.

I used this auto repair shop for years. I will never go back. Cost me a lot of money and did not fix the problem. Took the vehicle back and still did not fix the problem. My perception was they did not care and did not want to see me again, so I decided to go to another auto shop and pay them to fix the problem correctly. I also had a similiar problem with a another vehicle two years ago. I had to go back five times before it was fixed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I stopped by Daniels' for the first time this morning because of a minor issue with my car that turned out to be an easy fix. They didn't charge me because it only took a few minutes but I insisted because it still took time out of their day. I figured I'd be there for a while because I didn't make an appointment, but they were super quick and had great customer service on top of it. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back in the future!
