I cannot give JD praise enough! I took my truck to him , I needed repairs from being in a wreck. The damage was quite extensive. It only took him about a month and a half and my truck looks amazing! Good as new! Highly recommend going to JD for any auto body or mechanical work.Service: Auto body & trim replacement

Worst shop I've EVER dealt with!!! They overcharged me for a used engine, they broke other parts while trying to fix the main issue and then told me it would be an additional charge to replace the parts HE broke. He proceeded to tell me...the struts were weak because you have an older car(2012), they were bound to break at any moment. The point was that my struts were NOT broken before you got my car, so I should have received my car with the struts in the same condition. After my engine was replaced, my oil was a white milky/creamy substance and he said this was normal and all I needed was an oil change. I do not recommend this place, not even for a simple oil change. Please go elsewhere!!! Oh yeah and he is not a part of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) because he claims he doesn't want to pay the fee. I believe the real reason is because he doesn't want legitimate bad feedback/complaints posted or investigations done on his company.

I have been dealing with B and J Automotive & Collision for 15 years now. They are a full repair center performing mechanical,radiator service and full Body Shop/Collision. They have always done a great job on my vehicles. I have had extensive collision work on my 2011 Mercedes. My daughter needed a transmission rebuilt, and as usual B and J performed the job with a great price and a Full Warranty. I am not sure what happened with this other customer named Trey, but i can assure you there is more to the story than what is said. I have better things to do then write on the internet, but when I read this review I had no choice. I am going to see JD in the morning , because he is working on my Mercedes, and let him know what this person has to say! After being in Business for 23 years in a small town that speaks for itself. . Extremely Satisfied Customer Since 1997 Walt Galati !

Phenomenal experience! I was having trouble finding someone who would do good quality work and still be trustworthy with myself. These guys do it the right way. Couldn't be more happy with the quality of service or the price range they were able to get me out the door with. I will be using B&J Automotive for my future automotive visits.

Recently had major work done on my personal vehicle and I could not believe the amount of courtesy, and professionalism shown in this business. My car was taken in, estimated, and repaired quickly and efficiently. Now my car is better than new. Mr. Burdge and his employees are Springfield's best in auto repair. I recommend them highly!!

Went there some time ago and had work done to my truck. The paint job was horrible with paint running down the side and pillar. I brought it to John burdges attention and he "attempted" to fix it. Not only was the paint job lousy and unprofessional but there was a ton of overspray into my bedliner. If you look at where he painted the door the clear coat has come off and the paint has bubbled and chipped leaving rust. As if the paint wasn't bad enough he broke the inside of my door in 2 different places,promised to fix it but never did. Stay away from this place and the owner he's a bridge burner.
