It is so wonderful to finally have a market like this in Germantown. The layout and displays are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the product quality is unmatched. I love being able to quickly grab wine, cheese and bread, and sometimes a delicious sandwich.

Make no mistake this place is a full blown bakery.
I lived in seattle for more than 8 years and i thought they had good sourdough bread.
This is one of the best bread I had in my life. Worth every penny.
Try to get the sourdough while it's still warm and spread some irish butter on it. Does not need anything else

Creative assortment of wines, spices, and sandwiches. You can find items here that are not at other markets and explore worldwide tastes. The fresh bread smells amazing and the wine assortment has something for most preferences. The staff warmly welcomes you when you walk in and is eager to make small talk. This is a great place to stop if you’re shopping for an adventurous cooking night or a picnic.

Came here the Thursday of the 8" snow storm. Side streets were a little challenging but getting here made it all worth while!!! We arrived while the bread was still warm!!!!! We grabbed a loaf while we shopped. Got a couple French style sandwiches. Their breads are amazing. We also picked up a few other items to help us get through that crazy snow!!! Will return soon!

I love everything about the experience of Spread! I am always warmly greeted when I walk in the door, which further adds to the already welcoming environment. While I have loved trying out new products from them, especially the Kolsvart Candy Fish and the One Trick Pony Peanut Butter, my favorite thing is the daily sandwich! They always have a vegetarian option and are usually able to accommodate for gluten free or vegan. I've never enjoyed a place so much that I wanted to keep it a secret before! Despite this, I've been telling everyone I know they have to go check it out. It is such a lovely market!
