Everything was fine (can’t expect much from a towing company) besides how the truck driver hooked up my truck. My fuel pump blew on 24 headed home one night and Nashville PD dispatched these guys out to tow my truck to their yard. I went to their yard to check on my truck, and noticed this, and was planning on just paying their outrageous fee to tow it back to my house, but I couldn’t even trust the way they hooked up my truck, so I called my own guy to come pick it up for me. Their tow truck driver hooked up his chains to my crossmember. In this photo below, here is how you correctly connect chains to tow a truck, and if you look at my crossmember completely torn, you will see how NOT to hook it up. Not sure Martins cares about their reputation due to all their government contracts where they don’t need a positive view from the public, but if they are willing to give me $150 for a new crossmember, I will be more than glad to switch this to a 5 star review. Here is the picture, so y’all can see.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Hired them to tow my broken down car. They completely wrecked it. They smoked cigarettes inside it, got grease on the seat and charged me way more than they quoted.

Quite possibly the most evil business in Nashville. The workers get a sick kick out of charging you. They gloat and parade it around and if you so much as get an aggressive bite to your tone, they threaten to raise prices, hold your car, or evict you from the premises. I was towed today and was towed about two years ago and the same old, evil, smarmy handbag they have running the register still answers the phone, smugly relaying to you the hundreds of dollars they want to charge you, and tell you to hurry or they'll charge more (they did not give a rate or say how much, just empty vague threats of financial ruin). These people are terrible people. They are stains on the community.

The service i received from the tow company was excellent. I unexpectedly got a flat tire and metro called martins to tow my vehicle and the driver was extremely nice . I will definitely use martins again if i needed a tow.

Rude, so rude!!! I was trying to speak with the woman who answered the phone and identified herself as the “manager” that we were still needing some assistance. She stated they no longer had my vehicle and there was no reason to speak to me and hung the phone up. Not a community builder business at all.
They are hypocrites and lack the ability to uphold their core values. “We continue to honor family values, good business principals, hard-working ethic, and compassion for our customers upon which this company was based.”

Towed our vehicle and lied about the weight. Make sure you make them show you before you pay them a dime.

My car was towed from downtown by this company. I called them twice to confirm they were the company that towed it. The man that answered was extremely rude and told me it wasn't there and hung up on me. I called back same guy answered with his same terrible attitude and told me my car wasn't there that he had been working all day. I calmly asked him to check the lot again because it was towed a few hours earlier. I was put on hold for a few mins then he said "Yeah it's here," and hung up again. I show up to the lot no employee's on site. I call back and get the same guy. I told him I was there to pick up my car and he said he will be back in 10-15 mins. 47mins later her arrives. I pay him and meet him at the lot. (no id check or proof of ownership was required.) I notice that the white car parked next to mine on the passenger side is about 8 inches away from my car. The girl beside me had to wait for me to pull out so she could enter her vehicle. I immediately stop and do a walk around my car before I leave and notice my passenger door had been hit hard by a white car door. The guy didn't say a word to me just jumped in his truck and drove off. I would push my car before I called this moron to help me out!

This company knowingly charges more than the legally allowed amounts and doesn't honor the legal rights to drop fees that are established in Metro Codes. They are nothing short of criminal.
First, I was wrongfully towed by their operator (who was also aggressive and threatened to use mace) despite showing up before the truck had departed, was refused the ability to pay the legally required drop fee to take my car off the truck, was charged more than the legal max for a tow, and when I tried to contact the management (the owner) on multiple occasions, including going into the office twice, nobody would contact me. For icing on the cake, while I was in the office, the operator, on his way out the door to his next job, with cruel elation in his voice, said, "Time to go get the next victim!"
From owner to the operators to the office staff, the whole company is dishonest and untrustworthy. Stay as far away from Martin's as you can.

Just look at the lowest new ratings there is a reason why it’s so low. Just pick another place with a better rating

One of our drivers locked himself out of his truck. We are based in Louisville and had no quick way of rendering assistance. Emery was there maybe 10 minutes after our phone call with the best “can do” attitude I’ve seen in the service industry in years. Thank you Emery!

I called because I needed a vehicle towed, guy on the phone was super rude to me and quoted an outrageous price. Do yourself a favor and call someone else. Even if you have to wait hours on end, anything is better than dealing with these people.
