I was just in town for the weekend and needed a repair and not only was Rey able to get me in last second with no problem but he took care of the issue and made me feel so comfortable about what was going on. If I’m back in Nashville and god forbid I have more car trouble, I know exactly where to take my car!

Nashville is unfortunately rife with scammy auto shops. Rey is an actually oasis on the desert. Absolutely wonderful human being with the utmost integrity and completely brilliant with cars. He has saved my mini from the brink of extinction multiple times I don’t trust anyone else at this point

Found them on Groupon and called them for brake fluid and coolant exchange. The owner said he would honor the Groupon price if I pay directly to him as I had to also replace front brake pads and rotors. The owner Ray was awesome! He said he will not charge if the rotors or brakes don’t need replacement. He quoted excellent pricing, used all genuine NAPA products and finished everything in 2 hours just before long weekend. Saved me 30% over quotes from Firestone or Tire Discounters and 50% over Christian Brothers. It was worth the drive up there for an honest second opinion and cost effective service. Highly recommend.

DO NOT BUY GROUPON COUPONS!
Like many, I found out In N Out Automotive on Groupon. Trust me, you don't need it. Ray's prices are reasonable.
I called and scheduled an appointment with him for a tune-up. He diagnosed my car and determined that I don't need a tune-up.
This is where he truly won my service and trust. He thoroughly inspected my vehicle. He checked under the hood and chassis. He noticed that I had a significant oil leakage. He recommended to replace my oil gasket and pan.
I returned the next day and he successfully completed the job. Normally, you paid for your service and that is it. Well, he allowed me to look underneath the car and he pointed how where he fixed the car. Like others, he told me potential yet costly repair if I experience more oil leakage.
He is efficient, knowledge, honest and compassion. I will be coming back soon since I need my brakes replaced.

Beyond 5 star service - I read the stellar reviews and decided to bring my car In N Out Automative after recently moving to town. Got a great price and EXCEPTIONAL service on-the-spot on front brake pads and rotors for my Honda Civic. Ray had my car up and took me underneath to show me a few other things that need attention - he was very transparent with pricing and never pushy. He helped me figure out a timeline and priorities for some of the other recommended maintenance. I will definitely go back soon.

This place is the go to place. Rey is a a geniune person who will not cut corners or price gouge you in anyway. He will show you exactly what is wrong and explain it in a way that is understandable to someone who doesnt know cars. He will even point out other issues that could occur in the near future. If anyone needs an automotive place this is the spot no doubt. I will never take my car anywhere else no matter where I will be in Middle TN. The personal connection that is shown here is something that every place should strive to achieve. Not only was my vehicle fixed properly and fast, I feel that i have gained a friend in Rey.

Anything I’ve needed done, he’s fixed WITHOUT trying to get over on pricing. Everything comes with a warranty and for him to work alone he literally can get you IN and OUT.

Ray is the best hardworking mechanic in the area. I needed brakes and he got me right in and showed me what was wrong and replaced them efficiently and got me back on the road! Great service and price!

Just got our oil changed out by Ray. He did it at a fair price and even showed us some other issues that might come up in the future. Never felt so comfortable with a mechanic. He was very knowledgeable and no nonsense. Happy to of found a mechanic we can trust.
