First time stopping by here yesterday and it was great. Wish I would have come by sooner. The owner showed me around all the different wood that is available and was a great help. Plus their prices are really good too. This will definitely be my go to place for our wood needs for our future projects.

In 2020 we had to take down a large black walnut tree from our backyard. We hated to have to cut it down and thought it would be nice to make a dining table from the fallen tree. Good Wood helped facilitate the entire process. From drying the log, milling, design, building, and delivery. It was an amazing process. The result is we have a heirloom-quality dining room table that has literally changed how we function as a family. We now have space to sit our entire extended family at one table for special occasions! It’s also a show stopper and often guests comment on how pretty the table is. We’re thrilled with the entire process and look forward to working with the team at Good Wood for another project!

From their furniture construction to their commercial products and their lumber store, the company really excels in anything in the woodworking industry. I went to Good Wood to ask about a custom table. I was not looking for anything extravagant. Essentially just a nice tabletop with hairpin legs. The woman in the showroom wouldn’t tell me any prices and was not very helpful. She basically just told me where the wood was sourced from. I, essentially, had to pick what I thought looked appealing without any sort of pricing strategy. She said she would email a quote within a couple of days. About a week later I got a $12,000 quote for a table. So, unbeknownst to me, I must have picked some really, really nice stuff. It just seemed very pretentious with some serious gate keeping. The only reason that I gave 2 stars was because they followed through with an invoice.

So much food!! Burgers are STACKED!! Everything was good. A large variety of beers and drinks as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

I cannot recommend Good Wood enough! Recently purchased my first home and was doing a few DIY projects, one being a fireplace/mantle upgrade. The team was extremely helpful and insightful, they educated me on different stains and wood types, how a piece would look depending on other wood treatments, etc. They listened to what I envisioned and helped me pick the perfect piece. I even called back later to ask questions on DIY installation since I was nervous about ruining the piece, Mike connected me with an installation specialist who walked me through step by step what materials he recommended and key pieces to focus on; this was definitely not required by them and they went out of their way to ensure I was happy with the piece and how it fit into my home.This is not a cheap, super fast solution — it will absolutely be worth the money and time. I will definitely be returning for my next project!Services: Table construction & installation

What a great service these guys do! They contact construction sites where trees are most likely going to be torn down/trashed and then, if allowed, take those trees back and repurpose them into needed items! Kudos to them.
