In the past year, Tucker’s (was Gabe’s) repair people have come to my home to repair my dishwasher, refrigerator and yesterday, my stove. All have reached that critical age of 10 years old. Each of the techs was friendly, knowledgeable and worked quickly. Yes, it’s expensive but everyone is these days! They will be my “go-to” from now on.

Miscommunication during scheduling on their side. Was scheduled for repairs today, called and said for tomorrow. Gentleman assured me he would call me back if someone could come out today. GREAT JOB. Don’t count this team out. Will go out of their way to make things right

!! ZERO STARS !! 80 DAYS & STILL NOT WORKING !!
Service was requested for a 3 yr old GE Refrigerator/Freezer that would not get colder than 40 degrees. Their 1st service rep came out and I was told the compressor was out - they would send a certified tech out to evaluate the repairs - all on GE warranty. The certified tech decided that the issue was sensors and not the compressor - so the parts were ordered. FINALLY, on 11/10/23 - the new parts were installed. So here we are - 2 techs and 3 appointments later - I called today (11/17/23) to let them know that it is still not cooling to the set temperature. The freezer will not get colder than 20 degrees and the fridge is running 5 degrees warmer than it should be. I was told that they closed the warranty ticket and I would have to pay them $140 to come out and look at it. UNACCEPTABLE -- UNRELIABLE -- DISHONEST

I won’t bash Gabe’s, but I would not recommend them for dryer repair.

They've been here a few times and are set to come again. 4 Stars because one time a repair led to some damage that then led to a long wait on a special order. But overall nice and arrive on time. A million times better than the company I reviewed earlier today...

We have a LG refrigerator and the manufacturer told us to contact one of the three service providers that had been assigned to repair the Refrigerator. I understand people are sick and needed to reschedule. I was very patient as I did not know we had another choice. The service repair person, K, came out and asked for a letter of authentication from the manufacturer. I have no clue what that is. I was told to call this company for repairs. Needless to say, no repair was made, but the $152.90 service call was made. I wasted my time and money scheduling with this company. I made arrangements with another company and the service technician called the manufacturer and obtained what was needed while in my home for the repair which was covered under the warranty.

They came to my home on at least 6 occasions to fix my ice maker, which is under warranty. On at least 2 occasions, they didn’t show up. Said the Technician called and I didn’t answer.That’s not really my issue, though. That possibly happened. But when I called the technician back, or texted, I got no response.BUT, each time the ice maker wasn’t fixed or an appointment was missed, it would be at least another week before another appointment could be scheduled.I finally called where I bought the refrigerator from and asked for another service company.I bought the refrigerator in March, it is now September. The new service company has, amazingly, resolved the issue.Would NEVER use this company.

The people that came to my house were very nice. However, scheduling and follow through has been an issue for me with this company. At their first visit they advised they needed to order a part (a drain pump). When they came back to install that they said they needed to order additional parts (dampeners). They never called to reschedule to install the dampeners. When I called to ask, they insist the dampeners had been installed already. Which is impossible. I have to start the process over with the warranty company, which has also been a frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I don’t recommend this company or GE washers. The washer was purchased new this June.

Worst experience I've ever had! After 10 visits and 4 different techs, they tell me they've replaced everything possible and can't fix it. 3 months later.. I'm out the money spent (on parts that weren't broken) and starting over. They play a guessing game on what part needs to be replaced instead of actual testing. Do yourself a favor and contact the manufacture of your fridge for repair.UPDATE: turns out Gabe's doesn't even have a Frigidaire contract which they should've told me from the get go. Also, my fridge has been repaired by Frigidaire. I'd like a refund from Gabe's but we all know that will never happen.Service: Refrigerator/freezer repair

Absolute worst repair experience I've ever had. Please do not give them your business. We had someone out to diagnose the problem and the misdiagnosed it. Waited weeks for a part, then a different tech came out to install it, and told us that the issue was totally different and diagnosed a new problem with a new part needed. Waited even longer for that part. Then that tech was unavailable. Customer service was rude and combative. Reading other reviews and it's clear that is what you can expect from Gabe's. Absolutely awful experience and still never fixed.

FYI: This is NOT a review rather a word of warning to potential customers. A Gabe's Electronics vehicle (employee) regularly frequents a known "Black Heroine" dealing house. Occasionally, as often as 4-5 times per week. Most often, 1-2 times once per week. Usually in the afternoon & always staying for a period of time; 1-3 hours. No judgement. (Hence the three stars.) Rather informational; allowing for a more informed decision.
