Been coming here for over 3 years and the quality of care has unfortunately declined over the years. The rooms are very small and all smell like urine. More importantly they missed a cancer diagnosis in not only my dog, but also my friend's dog. The owner Dr Evan's, is super rude and talks down to you. All the other doctors are super nice. Would not give this place another dollar because Dr Evan's terrible attitude problem. She is not a nice lady and totally ruined any chance of returning or recommending this place. All my friends agree with the decline in care and are switching vets as well

City Pets helped with my 20 yr old Chihuahua and his end of life arraignment. They were compassionate and thorough in helping me make the right decision and end arraignments. When I decide to get a new pet I will definitely use their services for all my pets ' needs.

City pets have been Links vet since his birth. They have always taken time to educate me about animal care and given great advice.

Started coming here when I adopted my first dog Bennett during the pandemic and can’t recommend them enough! Bennett was so anxious at the vet (probably my fault) but has always loved the vets and nurses here at City Pets. They are generous with treats and patient with anxious parents. They have great flexibility and I loved that I could open a Pet HSA with them. We have now moved out of the area and had to change vets, but I would recommend them to anyone in the Nashville area.

We have loved our experience with City Pets for the last 6 years! Dr Anderson is amazing with our rescue dog. We feel very listened to and taken care of when we come for our appointments. No visit feels rushed and the care feels very personal and personalized. So thankful for such a quality vet and staff!

Pricier than our normal vet, but they're just down the street. However, we won't be back.Took our cat in Tuesday because he was constantly straining to pee (and I mean constantly), crying, clearly uncomfortable."Maybe he's just stressed."Yeah, no. They then took a urine sample for a urinalysis and cultures. It's Friday and we've heard nothing. Urinalysis should be one day, as should putting some urine on a slide and checking for bacteria with a microscope. Only the cultures should take this long.Meanwhile our cat is clearly suffering, possibly has a worsening infection, and was been given no take home antibiotics. They're closed until Monday.UPDATE: Emailed and told the results were ready but weren't showing in their system due to a computer glitch.I also noticed on the bill that there were extra tests that were not discussed and approved (parasites, FeLV, FIV). He also got a vaccine that was not discussed and approved (FeLV). We were told his blood and urine would be tested, and he is an indoor cat so we would have no reason to do the FIV/FeLV work. TBD if they will make this right - I'll update if so.First and last time coming here.UPDATE 2: Their diagnosis was also incorrect. Diagnosed as feline idiopathic cystitis when it was actually a UTI.UPDATE 3: It's also potentially illegal for them to release your pet's medical info without your consent in Tennessee, but at the least it's shady

I'm sad to say that a clinic that seemed to be a stand up business has proven to me that they are just out for money. My dog has been on the same medication for over 3 years now and I have had her with 2 different vets in another city prior to this. To prescribe a med, the law states that the animal must have an annual visit. I have maintained this and had her annual with City Pets about 5 months ago. With no warning, they are telling me they won't fill her vital medication without blood work. Couldn't prove this was necessary by law, but this is just what they feel like doing. This is poor healthcare practice and that requirement should have been relayed to me when I picked up her medication last month so I could plan accordingly. I am thoroughly disappointed and would not waste my time with a place that decides to withhold medications because they want you to spend money on a procedure that is unnecessary. Don't bother with this place! They seem alright at first but their true colors will show.

After sitting with my experience for weeks now and still being upset I have decided to leave a review. I will say I have never had an issue with anyone at this clinic besides Dr. Evans. She is beyond rude and unprofessional. I will never trust her with my dog again. Had I read all the bad reviews I would have never come. Do your research throughly. This is the second time I left their office crying. Dr. Evans has no bedside manner at all. She will make you feel bad for crying and continue to talk down and belittle you. She told me my dog could have cancer and when I started to cry, she acted disgusted and told me not to get emotional. She then presumed to call my terrified dog "pathetic and pitiful." Several times. I asked her how the report would read if my dog did in-fact have cancer. I asked if it didn't say benign how it would read so I knew what to look for. (Malignant) She looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I would like her to use "code words." Once the report came back positive for cancer she stated I could email and call her with any questions. An entire week and a half went by and not only did she not respond to my emails she wouldn't call me back. So I sat with a cancer diagnosis for over a week with many unanswered questions. My dog means more to me than anything else which is why I am writing this. Do not take your dog here, don't trust her with your baby. I have since found an amazing vet in Franklin that surpasses all expectations, will answer me after hours on the weekends with any questions I have and most importantly shows kindness and love to my dog when she is scared.

I love bringing my baby boy here. They take such good care of him and they try as best as they can to make treatment easy on your pockets. I can feel the love and care they have for animals every time I come here. I'd recommend this place to anyone with a furry friend.

I love my 7 lbs Chi mix more than anything. The quality of care bar is high for this little guy and I'm happy to have found a local vet that exceeded expectations. The staff would light up when he would come through the door, and even though no dog enjoys the vet they had a way to keep him content and mellow during any procedure. They take great care of their regular customers, are excellent and speedy with referrals to specialists. Most importantly, I know my dog is healthier thanks to City Pets.

Staff is all very kind to your face but pricing is well over rated and its very clear profit is at the forefront of everyone's mind rather than actual patient care. Very unaccommodating and unwilling to help out where allowances can be made. I have never heard of a $15 fee for using an online pharmacy for prescriptions while they overcharge for prescriptions at their facility that I can get for a 3rd of the price through VetRx. Very disappointed and unimpressed.

City Pets is by far the best vet experience I have had. I brought my cat in today (who is a ball of anxiety) because he was not feeling well & they were so gentle & comforting him the entire time. As a crazy cat mom, I must say I really appreciate the staff & all that they do for me & my cat!
