Visited this store middle of the day, they had two checkouts open and several customers in line. Self check out was available, but I don't typically like clocking in and checking myself out if there are cashier standing around doing nothing. I had around 20 items in my cart, and in a bit of a rush. The lady at the "10 or less" checkout had been standing at the end of her aisle for some time with no customers. I attempted to go over to her line when Dusty promptly stopped me and said this is the express line, we typically like to keep it open for customers with 10 or fewer items. I said, "well she's just standing there so rather than me having to go wait in line 7 other people to get checked out can I not just scoot through here?" He takes the front of my cart and turns it to go the other way, and again, says, "we keep this lane open for 10 items or less." I took a picture of his name tag and he asked if I wanted to speak with management and I told him no I would take care of it. I could've been checked out and out the door in the time it took for him to stroke, his ego as self check out leader. Sheesh, learn some customer service and if you have an employee standing around in a customer that's needing to get out the door just get the job done. And if somebody walked up with less than 10 items while I'm checking out with 20 items send them to self check out just the way you did me. Make it make sense! A customer with 10 items is more important then a customer with 20 items. Self checkout is available for the customer with less than 10 items just as much as it is everyone else. Customer service training needed!

I love this store. Especially the prepared food section. The food is always delicious and the fruit is so fresh and looks so appetizing. Plus the staff is really friendly.

Price gouging is in full effect and doubtless trashy treatment of hardworking employees too but at least Publix maintains a slight lead ahead of the nasty Walmart and Amazon with far less negative news concerning health insurance and compensation fraud. I do wish my home area had a Publix and all the great brands and store products showing up here. The key lime pie is a favorite! The story is very clean but organization is annoying with various similar products scattered across and all over forcing me to march to all ends to find something like Celsius which ended up in the sports section. Right makes sense when I stopped and thought about it but wished for energy drinks to be in the same place rather than attempting some intelligent arrangement!

All of our family members have switched prescriptions over to Publix in the last few months. Not only do they frequently have the best price, they have also been very communicative, and very willing to troubleshoot. Considering our family runs the range of having private insurance, TennCare, and no insurance, Publix has worked well with/for every one of us.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I heard great things about this pharmacy and I have had nothing but problems out of them. If you don’t have my meds in stock then let me know. When I’m talking to you about what happened do not talk over me. I’ve had 19 phone calls with this pharmacy in the past 2 days with no solution just a massive headache. I’ll get my refills transferred to someone who cares from now on. I am beyond livid and disgusted with how I was livid and talked to.

Even during these times, with how busy they are most of the techs are professional and courteous.

My primary care physician sent a prescription for an antibiotic to this Publix at 3:00. It still had not been filled 4 hours later

I went to this location earlier today and wanted two items for a birthday party. One of the items rang up as twice as much as it should have been, so I called the self checkout cashier over for help. When she arrived she abruptly told me that I had gotten the larger chicken meal and that's the reason why it was twice the price. I showed her that on the box it showed the lower price (8.99), and that in the box it was an 8 piece chicken meal not the 20 piece meal. To this she replied and let me know that there was nothing she can do about it that was the price it was. I did not agree with that price, so I told her to take it off and I would not be purchasing that item. She then told me she would let the deli know and walked off instead of taking the 15 seconds it would have taken to correct the price. Bad customer service. I then called in and the employee who answered the phone sounded like they only half cared and were distracted. Overall a pretty poor experience, so I went to Kroger instead and will be doing so from now on unless someone happens to read this and provides an actual solution.

IThis is my very first yelp or any type of review ever, so that says a lot, but my experience at this Publix on June 7th, 2022 at or close to 9:30am was the worst I've ever experienced at a Publix. I have shopped at Publix for almost 20 years, but this store in Mount Juliet in the Providence area is the worst Publix I've ever been to. Management standing outside not even a greeting customers as they walk in. Management stocking in various aisles and up front never ever saying even a hello. Scowls on her faces and many more. I went over to the produce department with no greeting, plus had to wait on the produce worker to finish stocking so I could get to the lettuce. Then went over to get some onions, and another produce worker gave me a dirty look after I waited for him to pull back his cart to get an onion. He was clearly upset At my inconveniencing his stocking. He never said hi, how are you or anything, just got a look like I needed to leave. I was done! I am not used to this rude behavior in my Tennessee. I don't know if these are people who've just moved here. I don't know if these people hate their job or their company. Whatever the reason there is no reason at all to treat customers this way. I can say this because I just lost my mom four days ago and I was still showing kindness and smiling. What a poor excuse for management and employees, but why wouldn't the employees under this management act this way when all they see is a leadership team setting the same tone. Shame on you Publix The reason people have shopped at your stores is because of your customer service as you are more expensive than most stores.

Always love this grocery store. I wish we had one in Memphis. Great selection of choices for all types of food.

This is classic bad business. Went to get three prescriptions for my mother and they have her good RX card on file and they apply it for her every time she goes in but since I went and picked them up they decided they weren’t going to apply and I didn’t think anything about it. We call back up there and the pharmacist don’t do the during the day said it’s not my job to apply coupons to your medicine somethings she had been doing for three months. This is the problem with pharmacists they believe that they are god they have a pretty severe God complex all of them

I would give this store zero stars if I could. Rude workers! It wasn't always this way but seems to have gone downhill.
