This store is an *amazing* local gem! I am always on the prowl for fashionable, yet comfortable, shoes. Tall order, I know. This store has a buffet of gorgeous shoes that are *all* comfortable! I live out of state and travel worldwide regularly and this is the best shoe store I have ever visited. On top of the fabulous shoes, they have clothes as well, and the customer service was phenomenal! Pam was beyond wonderful with her kind and patient manner. I will be returning to Memphis just to visit this shoe store!

Looked at their website and found one of my favorite shoes marked down. When I got to the store I showed the clerk the shoe and asked if it was on sale because there was no sign indicating a sale. She said no. I told her it was on sale on the website and was trying to pull it up to show her. She said" I don't need to see that , it's not on sale. She went to the back room and when she finally came out told me it was the shoe company who puts shoes on their site who made the mistake. I told her that I drove over because of the website showing them on sale and that they should update their website. As I was leaving she asked what size I wanted and that she would honor it in a very rude and condescending way. Won't be going back to the store. She could have handled that differently by looking at the website I offered to show her and then apologize that the website had not been updated vs bring rude and defensive.

Every time I'm in town I make a point to stop in and shop. Great brands and knowledgeable staff. I have never left empty handed. I prefer to support local, family run businesses and will always shop here.

They have a great selection of shoes. The staff is very knowledgeable about different shoes for people with foot problems. Everyone was very helpful.

Whenever I shop at Kaufman's, I am always welcomed warmly. All the ladies there tend to my needs and are very knowledgeable about the products - how things fit, the advantages to each brand, etc. I always feel as if I am visiting old friends who are invested in helping me to have happy (and cute) feet!
