“I had to go to Memphis Saturday. I wanted to find an Asian market. I was looking for a Thai/Vietnamese. So I googled and this Asian market is what I got so I decided to go. Well when I got there there was a little strip mall with a lot of little Asian type businesses there.That's always a good sign. Anyhow this grocery store / market was Korean and Japanese themed. That was sort of a shock because I don't go to Korean markets very often my daughter is half Thai. My ex was Asian. Anyhow, my tide daughter married a Korean man.The point being,I don't have any experience with Korean food other than what I've eaten at a restaurant. So I went on in and looked around and boy was I surprised. This little hole-in-the-wall market had a lot of room in it. I did not realize how much. It doesn't seem possible when you look at it from the street.As I began to explore, I found so many wonderful spices and aromatic herbs. I was thoroughly impressed.The freezer section was not as big as some but bigger than others. The selection was fantastic, a lot of different canned goods that were pretty normal to Japanese and Korean people but far from it to me.So what do you do in a situation like that, do what I did. Started putting stuff in the buggy and had a great time shopping.A few hundred dollars later, I was at home exploring the pile of groceries I had. Oh what a beautiful night it was.You see, I know enough about Asian cuisine to experiment. I was the chef and owner of a successful Thai restaurant for many years. I know herbs and spices fairly well. I can get flavors pretty close. The older I got, the less I liked the long hours. it was just too much work. I was ready to let someone else own it.Anyhow, as I approached the check out counter I noticed that the man at the checkout was smiling so bright , he seemed like he was happy and having a wonderful day. The experience there was very pleasant and all in all, The next time I'm in Memphis I would like to do business with this man.I took a few photos but nothing special. I didn't plan on writing this report. Normally I save that for just restaurant reviews.I totally recommend it if you are in Memphis.”

BUT I don't know if it is because we came in near closing time but there was boxes EVERYWHERE almost couldn't even go down some isles. “So, hopefully this is the right location for the new Casa Perez Market in Bartlett on Summer and Whitten. The service was really good here and the staff were very helpful. Now let's get to the food... I had the choripollo with rice and beans with a side of salsa verde and of course, tortillas. I really enjoyed it quite a bit, and there are plenty of other choices that they have on a daily basis. The food tasted fresh and everything seemed freshly prepared. I will definitely be making another trip to eat here soon.”

I only buy their meats like: Whole wings, legs, boneless chicken breast, party wings, chicken gizzard. They do have goat, etc. It's cost like $ 120.00 for a whole cow. They close at 12 midnight.”

“My favorite corner grocery in the entire Frayser area! 2-Star! I go in to see Dave the store owner whenever I can. He has everything from children's medicine, diapers, and formula to hot, delicious food made to order. Let's not forget his reasonable pricing and convenience of being near the apartment complexes in the area. Also, go visit 2-Star Jr. located at 2531 Chelsea Avenue! His son Muhammad is there cooking up the same delicacies as his Dad in another part of town. Check them both out! You wont be disappointed! ✅☺️”
“I am so thrilled with this place for their hot plate menu selections. The food has that "from scratch taste." Serving sizes are fair. Everything is soooo good. The cook/server [Tiffany] makes you feel welcome and like family. The store/restaurant is very clean and well stocked. They have a vast array of prepared items on the food bar. I travel across town for their meals. Love it, love it, love it!!!!!”

“This store is within walking distance from where I work. I buy plantains there for my mini air fryer all the time. They always have ripe avocados, too, which I sometimes have for lunch with black beans. Their prepared food is delicious as well, and it comes with a mini stack of warm tortillas! The store is clean, and the staff is very friendly. This is a great resource for the community, and I recommend that everyone in the area check it out.”

Some well most stuff is a tad bit pricey coupled with that 10% at the end of the bill..but hey! If you are looking for something, I bet they have it. And the cashiers are nice.”

“D&M Supermarket is a little neighborhood shop that has a lot to offer. Beyond the nic knacks for the home, the menu includes 16 piece fried shrimp for 7.99 and double cheesburger combos for $6.00 and its real meat that seasoned to taste. Even if fried rice and wings are the taste you crave the whole meal is $7.00 not to mention the 20 piece wing meal for $11.99. So if you are looking to fill your belly wothout emptying your pockets call D&M!! They even serve a 10 piece nugget with fries for $3.99 so come down to Westwood and make that dollar stretch”

“I had the pleasure of visiting Emilio's yesturday to gather ingredients for my familie's Chicken and Bacon Club Chalupas.The store was exceptionally clean and so were the shelves.They also had more than enough choices of Masa Harrina flour brands! Also I found several items I thought I was going to have to go Krogering for (thank you!) and the meat department had pre-sliced, lightly seasoned chicken breasts which were a huge time saver! I would recommend Emilios to anyone about to prepare any Hispanic or Latino Cuisine. There is also a hot and ready food area with seating I plan to try on my next visit!”
