Gentle Care Animal Care Clinic The staff here at this location really are exceptional at what they do for these animals. They really are. I'd like to thank everyone that has given advice and taken time to answer questions regarding my first dog and now my new addition to the family. Keep up the great work. Trust me your work does not go on and I again, thank you for answering all the questions I have. I have Nita answers for over the period of time that I had my pup- must continue success to all of the friendly staff members. I would like to acknowledge someone that I was one on one face-to-face with and conversation. I believe her name was Elgin Elgin. I hope I got it correct and there have been others that worked at front desk, and a self pleasant and personable kudos to the entire staff. One of the groomer said I had a face-to-face conversation with her name is Kristi. You can tell that she really loves what she does and to be able to interact and have a conversation with the Groomer Christi who loves her job. There's nothing else like it a person that is doing something that they love to do I hope I got it correct and there have been others that worked at front desk, and a self pleasant and personable kudos to the entire staff.

Great....Keri & Debbie worked a miracle with my senior cat Maddie that was terribly matted!! Thought she would have to be sedated (risky at her age) but they worked their magic & Maddie thought she was getting a spa treatment!!!! Thanks ya'll your the best

I live behind them, can't say they're the nicest to pups. I see them smoking next to the dogs outside, they let the dogs out as early as 6:30am/ 7am everyday which my family has to deal with without supervision sometimes.

Gentle Care Animal Hospital. I did not see Dr Blackburn. Twitter, my cat, saw Dr Steve Allen. He is wonderful. Gentle Care provides excellent vet services at the best prices. They also won an award for Best Veterinarian Practice in Memphis.

They are caring and knowledgeable. This is a trying time for all of us and their staff has been timely and responsive to all my pet's needs. While I may have to call several times to get through, I realize there are other people sitting in their cars that may just dial faster than I do. I expect to wait, however I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes past my appointment time. I expect to wait even when we don't have a pandemic, as they drop everything for emergencies. Many times my dogs have been the emergency. I've been a client for over 20 years, I miss Dr. Blackburn, his knowledge and his sense of humor. However, I feel confident with Dr. Nick and Dr. Sullivan and have continued to go to Gentle Care. Love Gentle Care and can't wait to introduce them to my new puppy (foster fail) Kelly.

You know if I could give them more stars I would. Dr. Allen is such a phenomenal veterinarian. He took time to throughly explain things to me and after Duke's surgery. The staff is high customer service friendly, patient, and organized. They took such great care of Duke and I would highly highly recommend Gentle Care Animal Hospital. I also would like to add that it was very affordable. Vets can be extremely costly and this would in my price range and I didn't have to sacrifice quality. I can't say enough GREAT things about Dr. Allen AND staff!!!!

Finally! I found a vet that ROCKS! DR. Allen and the entire staff are competent, kind and caring. The prices are reasonable, and the hospital is clean and spotless. Most of all, our senior cats TRUST AND ADORE the staff and Drs.

I have been going to Gentle Care approximately 20 years. An outstanding employee there has been there for me through joy, tears, frustrations, misunderstandings, and more. Her name is Cari, and she's the clinic manager. Over the decades, things change and people change. Cari has been understanding through all the tough times. I referred family and friends. One family was not responsible. Cari did not judge me because of an embarrassing situation. Recently I had a Rescue dog (a stray starving and injured on the side of the road). I needed surgery for the rescue dog. I had a promise from an out of state Humane Society to cover the charge. So, I called Cari. Together, we devised a plan to place the dog under a special account to receive donations. Because of Cari, this rescue dog received Veterinarian care. The Humane Society made a donation, but insufficient to completely cover charges. Because of Cari, the account was open to others who wanted to help an abandoned dog. Many went in to contribute and had no problems at all. The dog was a rescue so much past history was unknown. Unfortunately, the rescue dog had complications. She had to go back in for another surgery and anesthesia. She had further complications. Many people who were helping the dog wanted updates. Because I was tired from caring for a sick dog plus answering a lot of questions from multiple people, I posted her pictures on my personal Facebook page. I didn't understand tagging was something that went on a company's page. Facebook asked where are you, and I replied Gentle care. A stupid but honest mistake. As the day went on, I was tired, having issues from my chronic pain illness, and I was snapping answers that were judgemental and unkind. However, Cari was kind enough to call me and explain that Facebook post went on their site as a review. I'm almost 70. I'm not Facebook savvy. I appreciate Cari calling me instead of assuming wrongfully that I meant harm. Who does this? Someone who cares that's who. I like a clinic manager that treats me like a human being prone to making mistakes, especially if worn out, sick, and exhausted. I have left other reviews, but always there's much to say good about Gentle Care. Cari was kind enough as well to talk to me because one of the Veterinarians told her I had written a negative review about a euthanasia. At first, I was upset. My husband reminded me that perhaps the Veterinarian could have easily gotten me confused with my family member. Cari doesn't confuse me with anyone else. She's taken the time to get to know me and I feel she will do the same for you if you are looking for a Veterinarian clinic with a manager that has a heart. Her job is difficult. How would she know when a Veterinarian told her something? Because. She. Cares. The Veterinarians are clinicians and are busy. Cari is busy, but seems to find time for her clients. In fact, the troubled euthanasia was for a rescue dog also. He had been abused and was a biter. In spite of that, Cari set up monthly appointments for his care for years. He got all his care while sedated. Max loved Brandon, a superb Vet tech. Max became worse after many years and it was time. Dr. Bucco had the unpleasant job of peacefully and humanely ending the dog's suffering. Who called the next day to let me cry on their shoulder? You guessed correctly. Cari. I like all the Veterinarians. I have my favorite, of course! Lindsey is the most loving and caring Vet tech as well. I like all the techs, and Brandon deserves sainthood. But the cream of the crop is Cari. Seriously, you need a clinic manager who cares. Who doesn't judge you over another's behavior? Who listens? Who lets you explain even if something in error was said by a long term employee or Veterinarian? I wish I could say that I deserve the wonderful treatment I have received, but I don't. I will promise you that a clinic manager like Cari is a pearl in the sand. The Veterinarians

Great service and always able to get an appointment. I have not used their kennel service, so I can't comment on it. We have taken all three of our dogs there for the last 8 years and wouldn't go anywhere else for their care.

I love this place! Dr. Nick rocks! The staff are very caring and you cannot go wrong with the prices. I've been to several veterinary practices that charge much more. I would say this is an A+ practice.
