This was my first visit at Kinslow and this was the worst veterinary experience I’ve ever had. For seeing so many reviews about how this clinic “treats your pet like their own,” I was shocked that my experience was the farthest thing from that. I will be driving the extra time to my previous vet clinic that truly cares about its customers and their pets.

I’m new to the area and took my cat in for a minor issue. There was only one other person in the lobby who was called back shortly after I arrived and I still waited over an hour to be seen. (The lobby was also freezing and my poor cat was shivering.) While I was alone in the lobby, I heard the women behind the counter laughing and gossiping about customers. There was one horrible conversation they had joking about how uncomfortable it was to talk to a customer crying on the phone about her dog that passed away.
The only positive was that when called back, the vet was thorough and quickly deduced what my cat needed, but the technician that was assisting was extremely rude. She kept trying to push some random brand of flea/tick treatment onto my bill while talking about some syndrome that my cat had no signs of. When I said that I didn’t want to purchase and that I already use a different brand of flea/tick, she went on to insinuate that if I cared about my cat, I would purchase.
I tried sharing this information with the woman at the front desk and explained that trying to educate is different than the rude and condescending language/tone that the technician took when I refused what I’m assuming is her commission. The woman at the front desk stared blankly and didn’t acknowledge my concern outside of a generic “thanks, have a good day.”

Brought in my senior pittie today for a second opinion after our current vet had mentioned surgery being our only option. At my dogs age she couldn’t handle surgery and I know that, which meant that my dog might possibly have reached her end of life when her quality was still very decent. Well, she was misdiagnosed and medicated incorrectly. The staff was wonderful and she was put on a whole new routine. And her eyes (the issue at hand) already show so much improvement from just 2 doses. We were even told she’s “spunky” for an old lady. I am so grateful to this clinic and so glad I got the second opinion. I will never take another pet anywhere else. ❤️❤️

The people here are so great and sympathetic when I had to let my baby go over the rainbow bridge. Didn’t know about them before this had to happen wish so much I would have.

My cat got his tail injured pretty bad last week. The people there had him all fixed up within a few hours. And the price was half what I thought it would be. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend should you need it. Support this place, there doing good work over there.

My babies have been going here since Dr Kelly moved here. She is the absolute best! Words cannot describe how much I love her and how she cares for our dogs Maddie and Lilly! Best place to take your fur babies
