Poor communication and service. I thought highly of this place before but, it has not been the same for some time now. I really don't know what happened to them. Truck has been in the shop for 5 weeks now and still not fixed. Going to try another shop that can get it fixed in a timely manner. Sad how this shop has went down from the top spot for me to the worst one.

If you want speedy service or quality service don’t go here. They sat on our truck for 3 days. Said to drop off so they could get to it quicker. That didn’t happen. Had to stop in several times because the owners daughter never called as promised. Severely understaffed. As for the work done my brakes were worse after they did the job. Were not clear on work to be done. Ended up resurfacing rotors and now the brakes pulse. Didn’t pulse when they advised they had to be replaced. They did offer to put new rotors on at my expense and new pads. I question if they actually did the pads because they pulse worse now then ever. I have no confidence in their ability so I haven’t brought it back. Just not a good shop.

TL;DR: this place had the key to my car for a week and a half, didn’t even move the car once. Zero communication from this shop. Found another local shop, the mechanic looked at it same day, problem fixed the next. I spent over $700 on a rental car for nothing.I dropped my car off on Thursday, 10.5.23 around 2pm. The posted shop hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm, closed on the weekends. I considered myself lucky if they were able to look at it on Friday. Realistically, I expected a call on Monday or Tuesday. That didn’t happen. I called on Wednesday afternoon (10.11.23) and was told that when they were able to pull my car in and look at it, I’d get a call. At this point, it was nearing a week since I left my car there.Side note: my car had been having issues with randomly shutting off and being difficult to start up again. There were other concerns, but this was the biggest. The day I brought the car to this shop, my car shut off in the middle of a busy intersection and I had a super difficult time getting it started again; a nice person came to literally push my car and me to a safer spot. Obviously, I wasn’t going to try my luck and keep driving it, especially when I was barely able to get it to this shop.By Friday afternoon (10.13.23), I still had NO update, not even a “hey sorry we’ve been a little busy but we expect to diagnose your car by…” absolutely NOTHING! On this same day, I ran an errand whose route took me past the shop. As expected (though I did have a smidge of hope) my car was still in the exact spot I left it. At this point, I decided on the way back, I was just going to pick up my key and take my car somewhere else.I get to the shop on 10.13.23 around 3:20pm to pick up key, they are closed. I even tried calling just in case there was someone actually there and they just had the doors locked. Nope. Nothing. No signage on the door stating that they were closing early or anything. They are closed on the weekends, so now I have to come back on Monday.After I get off from work on Monday afternoon, 10.16.23, I drive to the shop. I still had a smidge of hope - by this time, they are definitely checking out my car! I get to the shop around 4pm and wow! My car is actually…in the SAME dang ol’ spot in which I left it. After a week and a half, they couldn’t even bother to just diagnose the car. Nor call me to tell me anything! I’d already made up my mind about taking it elsewhere. The crazy thing is, when I asked for my key, she was happy to give it to me. Didn’t care to ask me why or give me reassurance that they could take care of the issue. Not even an apology for keeping my car for so long for nothing.Keep in mind that despite having my contact information, no one from the shop took any initiative to reach out to me during my whole experience with them. Any time I wanted information or an update, I had to call them. Even before I dropped my car off, I called and gave a brief explanation of the troubles I had with the car and asked if I need to make an appointment. She said “No, just bring it on in and we’ll take a look at it!”I was able to get my car to another local shop on Wednesday, 10.18.23 around 4:30pm; the mechanic had already started diagnosing it less than an hour later. He called me the Thursday morning(10.19.23), told me what the problem was and had my car fixed by Thursday afternoon.So not only was my time wasted for a week and a half, I also had a rental car during the time this shop had my car and I spent well over $700 on a rental for NOTHING! I had a problem that was able to be corrected in fewer than 24 hours! My car drives so much better now. The 2nd shop I took it to has excellent reviews and came with great customer service!I could make some assumptions about this Absolute Auto Repair, but ultimately they decided that my business or my money were not welcomed there.

Y'all I can not praise them enough. I had my car towed there after being recommended by another shop (they didn't do what I needed done on my car). Once I got it there, Gracie talked me through calling the dealership because it would actually be cheaper there. She even called my warranty company for me. They didn't try to hoodoo me, they weren't out for money. They were honest. And they made a really bad day a little better, because I was almost in tears. Thank y'all so much!
