I've been coming to this store for 4 years none of the workers greet you, ask if you need help finding something none of the workers smile they all have attitude's there always talking about there personal problems to each other or customer's they know holding up the line for the next customer. I can't stand up for very long. Unexceptiable.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this Exxon station. When I entered with a backpack, I was immediately told by Garett that I couldn't bring it past the front, even though there were no signs posted indicating this rule. Garett was very aggressive about it.
I agreed to hold our backpacks while my friend went to grab drinks for us. When we approached the checkout counter and placed our drinks on it, Garett was condescending in tone. He scoffed, asked, "That's all you need?" laughed, and with a shooing motion, tried to send us away with the drinks without letting us pay. I insisted on paying to timestamp the incident because of Garett's earlier rude behavior. Garett then got even more aggressive, continuously trying to shoo me and my friend away without letting us pay.
When my friend asked why he didn't want us to pay and why he was treating us this way, Garett started yelling and insisted we stand in front of the counter with a line forming behind us. He pulled out his cell phone, claiming he was calling his boss, and would not finish our transaction, demanding that we wait while he talked to his boss. During this part of the interaction, my friend mentioned that we had no problem with the store policy and were happy to abide by it, which is why I waited while they got the drinks. But then Garett informed us that "We didn't have to stop in here," implying he didn't want our business for some reason. My friend asked if his boss would appreciate knowing that he was telling people not to shop here, and Garett replied, "Yes, they would be happy people like us don't come here." I'm not sure what he meant by that either, as we are simply paying customers, furthering the aggressive nature of the interaction.
When I mentioned I could call the business myself, Garett proceeded to kick me out. Austin, another staff member, backed Garett up throughout the incident but did not intervene or say anything to de-escalate the situation.
I returned to get my receipt, got in line to wait, and Garett stopped his transaction with another customer to yell at me to "get out, I don't want you on the premises." I replied, "I just wanted to get my receipt." He didn't give it to me during my original transaction when I asked for it. I made sure my friend waited outside with the bags to avoid any confrontation, and Garett still raised his voice at me.
This level of rudeness and lack of professionalism from Garett, with Austin's silent support, is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures that staff are trained to handle situations calmly and respectfully.
