Try at your own risk, this is for information only. I have no experience at this place and will never do so. The only reason I gave one star is that I was forced to do so in order to place this message. State Farm set up a rental for me and advised that Hertz would be in contact with me directly. I never heard from this place. Tried several times over several days to contact them myself and could get no answer. Always "the mailbox is full" so I couldn't even leave a message. I finally called State Farm back and had them cancel the reservation and set one up with Enterprise. I had everything arranged with Enterprise within 15 minutes!

I always have a great experience at the location. The gentleman running it is always friendly and welcoming.

Update: got a credit for the difference. Still not a great experience. Will not use them in the future.
Got there to get vehicle and they didn’t have what we reserved. They put me in something somewhat comparable (the comparable was not cleaned before we got it). They charged me a 200 deposit on top of my “bill” that was twice what is on the actual bill I received via email. I spoke to Hertz Corporate and they sent an email to the manager to give me a call. Still waiting on that call. I just want my money back that is due to me. Very frustrating to say the least.

Nobody at the location when we arrived for insurance replacement. Guy finally shows up and says he's the only one who works there?? Tells us both cars he has available need an oil change so we can't get one until the next day. Tried to call the next day, nobody answers the phone, mailbox is full so no voicemail option. Location has the ambiance of a front for a trafficking operation. If the other driver's insurance wasn't paying for it and thus calling the shots, I'd do business with literally anybody else.

Arrived in mountains and discovered no heat. Temp was 34 degrees.Was informed I would have to take car to Tennessee to exchange. Went back home to Virginia.

I made a reservation with Hertz for a compact car and was given a minivan!! I was told compact cars weren’t an option even though they are listed on the website. They did discount the price but it still wasn’t the car I reserved.

Overall, not great. Called for 3 days to get hold of someone. Never able to reach anyone. Had to drive to the facility. Once I got there, they couldn't process my rental due to equipment failure. Took 3 more days for a call back. I then had to drive back to the facility to complete the rental process. The good is , they gave me a really nice van loaded with options. That is the only reason for the 3 stars. Probably will not use Hertz again. I rent cars monthly and this was by far the most frustrating transaction I have had with a car rental company.

The van that we rented was awesome and Chris and his coworkers did an amazing job helping us get it. Will definitely use Hertz again ?
