I honestly believe this is got to be the slowest post office in the country. Line inside moves slower than a snail’s pace. They only have two reps and then one will get up and leave with the line out the door.

A major mistake occurred with a very important package. This happened before years ago & I did not feel heard or acknowledged. This time, being unaware of a Past mistake, extreme efforts happened to make this right! They are people, we all make mistakes. It's what you do after. They went several miles & several more to help me. My faith in the Postal System has been restored!

I've been afraid to write a review here in case it impacts my future deliveries, but honestly it can't get any worse. The year and a half that I've lived in Hendersonville has had so many USPS delivery issues! Typically when something is marked as delivered to my locked apartment mailbox, I know that I won't see it until a few days later, and I don't understand why carriers are allowed to mark it as delivered until it actually is. I've had other items take 2-4 weeks to arrive after they've been marked as delivered. Some items have never arrived. I had to initiate an investigation for an item from Walmart a few months ago that was marked as delivered, and fortunately, I was refunded when it wasn't located anywhere. Another item from iHerb needed to be sent out to me again when I didn't receive it. Recently a package that was marked delivered a week and a half ago still hasn't shown up and nothing was found during the investigation, so I need to submit paperwork again. A friend sent a bracelet to me several weeks ago on the same day I sent her a check that she received promptly, but I haven't received my package. There have been other items (like my Grandmother's birthday card with a check) that never turned up either. I actually wrote a note on my Amazon account not to deliver anything via USPS because of the amount of issues I've had. And I've had ZERO problems with any other delivery service. When they say they have delivered an item, they always deliver it that same day. From now on, I'm going to ask that anything important be sent to a family member's address in Madison because I brace myself anytime I see something is being sent via USPS. I live at the Point at Waterford Crossing, and many of my neighbors have complained about USPS delivery as well. We are begging you to ensure our items are delivered to the right mailbox on the day that you say you have delievered them.UPDATE: The post office denied my claim that it wasn't delivered. What am I supposed to do when the carrier doesn't deliver the item I ordered to the proper mailbox? Now I need to wait for the letter to arrive to make an appeal, but who knows if that letter will arrive in my mailbox...

I had a package coming in from another country and was expecting it to be a little delayed due to snow. When international shipping marked it as delievered and I coudn't find it, I went down to this post office and they told me to file a claim online as it was showing it passed through this exact post office.I put in my report and waited for USPS to respond. While I waited for the response, I made sure it wasn't just laying around my property or stuck in the ditch pipes and asked around a bit. When I didn't get a response back in from USPS, I called them and talked to an agent and she looked up the tracking and showed that it was scanned back at this post office and then sent all the way back over seas to the original sender instead of checking the shipping tracking number and finding out that it was supposed to come to my address.I go back and talk with the post office and to be fair the lady there was very professional but basically said I was out of luck and to contact the sender.I will say that the people working in the actual front of the post office are nice and professional but I'm not sure what is going on else where.

This is the worst post office/postal service I've ever had to deal with. Mail is still not being delivered as of today and the the roads are fine.

Worst mail service I've seen in my life. Live at Waterford Crossing Apartments and have literally lost count of how many packages I've had lost or were never delivered (regardless of tracking saying "out for delivery"). There's no dedicated route/driver here and the mail consistently arrives after 8:00pm...if it even arrives at all. The USPS service in this area was one of the deciding factors of me moving back into Nashville. I'd give a lower review if possible!!!

Amazon tracking said that the post office had my package out for delivery. Then it updated to running late around 6pm, ok so the carrier is tired no worries. I go in today to pick it up a the clerk won’t even acknowledge that they have my packages talking about how they’re in a tote and not gonna dig through it. Like bro that’s your job! The clerk was rude and the carriers do not complete the jobs (even just puttting things in the right spot on returning to the post office isn’t being done). I worked for the post office for 6 years in Nebraska it’s not that hard of a job put the mail in the box and packages on the porch.

Clearly another fine use of taxpayer money it's amazing that all these other carriers can ship from China overnight and US Postal Service cannot deliver a letter around the block and get it to the correct mailbox. If we get mail on any given day it is probably the neighbors and we pass as they're delivering mine to my house the letter we got today was postmarked 10 days ago. You talk to people and you say what do you expect for free if you believe anything controlled by the US government is free think again they don't have the money to pay them until they take it from us only to do a pitiful job that can be outsourced privately

The place is listed to do passports from 1-4 for walk-ins, however due to under staffing they couldn’t take me or the father in front of me. We got there around 1:10. Just be aware of not being seen. The gentleman who informed us was kind.

I am trying to get my son a passport walk in are from 9am-12pm. I've been here waiting since 8:30am, they open at 9 am and post master stop taking walk ins at 9:20am. That's ridiculous, I've driven 50 miles to get this process completed since you need both parents present. Hendersonville Post Office please do better, take down that you do passport walk ins from your website. You turned 8 people away in 20 minutes of being open. Please get a better post master, they wouldn't even come out to talk to the 12 people that they turned away.

I haven't received my mail in days! Also, the delivery person needs to re-learn their shapes. Cramming a box in the mail box that's IMPOSSIBLE to get out. I live in an apartment and those mailboxes are tiny. Just put it in the stupid parcel locker or stop being lazy and bring it to my door. I shouldn't have to fight for 10 minutes to get a box out. It's ridiculous .

For an organization struggling to stay relevant they sure don’t help themselves out. The mail sometimes comes and sometimes doesn’t; the post office likes to say we just didn’t get anything that day, but the outgoing letters sitting in my box for the past few days suggest they just don’t come at all. The mail takes a week to get delivered locally, and you’re lucky if things don’t get messed up along the way.
