“We live in Washington State and I ordered flowers from another florist who turned out to not even have a shop in Hendersonville or nearby. They were for my Mother in law who was in a local rehab center. When I was told that the company I ordered from would NOT be able to honor the promise they made to me about getting the flowers delivered by Christmas Eve I cancelled the original order. I called Brown's at about 5 minutes to their closing time on Christmas Eve and explained my problem. I asked if they delivered on Christmas and if there was any chance of my 84 year old MIL, who was alone at Christmas, getting flowers. The woman explained that they were closing in just a few minutes, they weren't delivering on Christmas and her delivery people were all leaving. I told her I would still like to order flowers even if they got there after Christmas. She put me on hold briefly, came back and told me there was a chance she could get one of the drivers to deliver that day. We called my MIL that evening and the first words out of her mouth were "My flowers are beautiful!". Clearly this is a company with a heart! I was so appreciative! DO NOT order from Ava's Flowers, who is some sort of broker outside the US that orders from local companies and adds on more than 50$ in junk fees. Order from Brown's, they are very dependable and they CARE.”

“UPDATE: All companies have customer service issues from time-to-time. The difference between the great companies and all of the rest is the way they deal with the issue. Today, Flower Express called me to apologize for the quality of the original bouquet, and offered to send a replacement. The replacement looks exactly like I expected the original to look, and my wife is very happy with it.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I like shopping locally, and for several years, the Hendersonville Flower Express has been my favorite flower shop for deliveries. And my wife has really enjoyed the flowers that I sent her from the Flower Express.However, I was really disappointed in the Valentine flowers that I bought for my wife. They were underwhelming when they were delivered, and now, one day later, many of the blossoms have already wilted.”
