Our family went through several traumatic life experiences while being members here. The love and support we have been blessed with from church friends, church leaders, and members who didn’t even know us were what kept us going. I am so thankful for GUMC.

I had childhood trauma connected to this church. Bunch of selfish people who don't have a life. It's almost like a cult of traitors. This church is only in it to beg people for money. They are obsessed over right speak, right action, right thought it's impossible! What ever happened to living for yourself. They'd say give your left arm give your right arm. For what an imaginary friend named God. They Can't even say you are sorry for the torment you have caused me with Anxiety. You only respond to 5 star reviews and ignore the rest. The high and mighty holy roller. Well ignorance is bliss. There is a Plack at that church in the Prescott house and I don't want my name there with a bunch of Christian nationalist grifters. My dad and grandma are buried here and my dad didn't want to be there, he didn't believe in God he was agnostic. But the justify this justify that type people got their way once again. I escaped this town at 18 in the middle of senior year because of trauma. This church made your bed now lay in it and Christians are the most judgemental of all and yet teach not to. Bunch of hypocritical people. Be accountable to yourself. Good riddance.

They lost several of my items and the lady that emails you is very rude and unprofessional. She assured me that she put my items in the box herself and seen my son’s games and tried to put it off on me. Then she said they found the games and she kept calling them Xbox games and I told her my sons games were PlayStation 4 could she make sure before I drove from Bartlett to Germantown to pick them up and she assured me they had my name and consigner Id on them. Drove there and wasn’t even my games and didn’t have my consigner number on there she was just gonna give me someone else things just to shut me up. Just like she lied and said she put my things with my consigner id in the box herself. I also heard the people working talking awful about some of the people who was dropping things off. No one was on the same page of what they accepted at the sale. And several of my items got separated from what they went to and luckily I seen some of them during the sale and put them with what they went to. I will continue to consign with lil blessings they have the same amount of percentage for items and each thing you bring is guaranteed against being lost or theft. Those ladies at this one do not care about your things very unorganized. Very rude. Also I tried to leave a review on fb and they blocked me from the page as soon as I posted it. I’m sure I’m not the only one they’ve done this to. They block you so their ratings don’t go down. I will be contacting other people over my issue and warn everyone I know not to consign with them. I also have all the email between us back and forth.

We join GUMC when our children were very young. This church has supported us through many years of various highs and lows in our life. We have met our lifelong close friends here and we have been spiritually feed through the missions and ministries of Germantown United Methodist Church. We are so proud that our married children have chosen to join GUMC. They are very involved and are raising our grandchildren in our church. We are a welcoming congregation with vital music, children’s, missions and adult ministries. I am in hopes that anyone in our community looking for a church home, will visit and find the same experience we have found at GUMC.

We have been members of GUMC for 36 years. We love the warm and friendly feeling of our church and that all are welcome. We have been blessed to be part of two different Sunday school classes who have loved on us through our many blessings and through some terrible heartache. We would not want to be anywhere else.

Germantown United Methodist Church is our church home. We are part of a warm and welcoming Sunday School class with great lessons every week. We also enjoy attending Prism (our contemporary service). We have grown to really enjoy the music and we love the spirit and message of Mimi our pastor. I would guess that half of our Sunday School class attends Prism and have go to the more traditional service. Some go back and forth between each. There is something for everyone. There are so many activities at GUMC for old and young alike. Kids play all kinds of sports through our church league and adults enjoy walking on the track, playing pickle ball, taking exercise classes, etc. throughout the week. There are also work retreats for adults and older kids and camps in the gym for younger children during the summer. We have Mens’ prayer breakfast, women’s circles and luncheons. Something is going on all the time. Great place to worship!!

We’ve been members at GUMC for 40 years and I would say one of the best decisions of our marriage has been joining this church! Most of our closest friendships have been created here and the church continues to be a warm, welcoming place for all!The music program and children’s activities are outstanding!

We have found Germantown Methodist Church to be extremely friendly and welcoming. We love they have so many programs, small groups, and service opportunities, but yet they’ve managed to keep a “small church” feel. Even a choice of worship style is offered.
