**BEWARE** may be a long read but if it saves 1 person it's worth the read. I was one of the founding members of WOAT Crossville. I had an account in good standing for nearly 6 years. I had access to everything, the gym itself, tanning, group activities, etc. In May of 2023 I updated my card on file for billing. I went up there in person, handed my card to the, at the time, main gym manager. She physically scanned my card in and the charge subsequently went through. No issues. I had been having issues with an injury so I hadn't attended the gym in months. I had minor surgery in November of 2023 and after my surgery I was well prepared to hit it hard and go back. Before I could do that I got a notification from my credit file, I had a collection account from WOAT for upwards of $300. Needless to say I was livid. I had received 0 communication from them, no phone call, piece of mail, anything. I reached out to management AND ownership and they still refuse to return my calls or messages. The reasoning for it is unclear to me, as my card on file was correct and active. The only conclusion I can come to is that someone had nefarious intentions.

Great gym. Not too crowded or noisy. Lots of weights and machines. Everything is in working order. Seems to be well run.

They are overpriced, and required me to pay for an extra month just to cancel. Oh and i had to go online and make an account just to do this. They could not do it in person in the facility. Do not do business with these people.

Make sure you don't keep a debit card on file. I've been paying since 2019 even though I had only went there for the first couple months. So, for 2-3 years I've been paying even though I never went! I had a new issued debit card, they weren't able to take anymore payments out. Now I have $98 in collections that I had no idea about.

I think this gym needs a lot of attention from the owners then it get I’ve been a member basically since it opened I’m going to probably be canceled my membership after the first of the year I’d would stay away from this place!!!!!! All the pictures were from yesterday and Monday

They need to change the water filter on the water fountain. It's been on red (change me) for months. I asked a staff member and was told that management is aware but won't change it.

There is nothing to recommend this gym. It is awful.Update: they canceled my membership for the bad review..I just finished filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I encourage others to do the same. It's really quick and simple.

Was a member when the gym first opened in 2017. Had good management and Ej and Jerry came around more then. It was nice and clean with good employees. Fast forward to 2022, the owners never are in town. Not very good management and it isn't clean like it used to be. Staff are usually sitting at the front desk on their phone or socializing with other coworkers. 9-26-22 there was a protein shake spill on the incline bench press area. As of 10-3-22 it's still there.If you don't want to work out in a dirty gym, go somewhere else.

I did'nt appreciacite the front desk person, don't know his name, he is thin, straight across bangs for his haircut and was very rude to me. In the first tanning room I have been in there had the timer set for 5 min. and it cuts off after 3 min. and then darkens and blows air the rest of the time. It could be a short in the system. When I told him what had happening he started asking him questions as if I did'nt know how to use it, and It was in a belittling manner and when I continued he got ruder saying, "That is not what you said!" The young lady apologed for him and told I'm the only one experiencing this in the tanning room. No big deal, I can do in twice. In the four years I've going there this the first time anyone from the staff was rude to me. Maybe he does'nt like women?? Then picked the guy I was talking to to start a conversation with, on the bikes. Ignoring me. I don't think he knows he is rude. But, he is dealing with the public and needs to be pleasant. The gym has gone to corporate, tryed to put membership on hold after being there for over a year and was told I couldn't. Then I am told I will still be charged for the next month even though I will be cancelling my membership. My advice find another gym.
