I brought my 2007 BMW M5 in for a no start no crank issue. This problem had baffled 3 other shops. I was about ready to give up on the car. Up to that point I had spent over 3k trying to get the car repaired with the other shops and each time those guys wanted me to spend more money to try their next great idea to fix my car. I was at my wits end when a friend told me to trust him and try the shop he was using to maintain his E63 AMG, reluctantly I decided to give this one last go. When I took the car in I didn’t tell them of everything the other shops had already tried, I just told them the car wouldn’t start when I went to drive off from my office one day. I didn’t tell them that the starter, battery, CAS module had all been replaced at other shops with no luck. So I leave the car with them and expect to hear more disappointing news in a few weeks with a large bill…but that wasn’t the case! They called me the next day and told me the car was runnng and driving but they wanted to check if I’d like an oil service since it was close to time to do one. I couldn’t believe it, I actually asked them 3 time, “The 2007 M5? The black one?”
“Yes sir, it was a bad ground cable from the subframe to the engine.”
Needless to say, they are now my go to shop! They’ve never let me down, they’re friendly and down to earth, and I’m glad I get to write this review! If the team at Stecker is reading this, you guys rock! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?⭐️??⭐️⭐️

The guys at Stecker are amazing! Although I don’t own a German car, I came to them with concerns about my car and they took the time to do the research and help me figure out what my car needed. They were transparent about the issues and their pricing. Compared to all the places I went to they had the best price in Chattanooga. They had my car ready in less than two days. I’ve recommended them to all my family and friends and they love them!

Bought an instrument cluster to be shipped all the way to WA state, item was disassembled properly and shipped with plenty of cushion inside the packaging, item also works flawlessly and as stated by Stecker. Great shop, you can trust Stecker

Took our BMW 428i for brakes. They did a great job. Very knowledgeable and professional. Less than half the cost of having it done at the dealer with the same parts. So thankful to find a trustworthy mechanic. I will not be taking my cars anywhere else.

I had a great experience, it was rough coming in with a BMW that had left me stranded, but Beau took great care of me and my car! After a preliminary inspection, he gave me suggestions for needed maintenance, and told me he would get it checked out and give me an estimate. I had the information the next day, he had to order in some parts and then had me back on the road in short order. Thanks for the wonderful and thorough service!

I used to just come here for used BMW parts.. but not long ago my engine started making a horrific knocking noise. I assumed the worst, but I ended up having Beau diagnose the noise on my N54. He didn’t just stop there, he checked out several other things on the vehicle I was unaware of, and pointed them out to me. He has great communication, and thanks to him I received an accurate diagnosis and all is well. BMW of Chattanooga wanted a quarter grand just to LOOK at the car. So thankful I ended up finding this shop.I’ll definitely refer anyone with a BMW over to him. Very satisfied, and will absolutely be my go to for diagnosis, parts, and repairs if I am unable to do them myself.

Brought my car to Beau and Stecker to have an automatic 1995 BMW 540i swapped to a manual transmission as well as getting it back to road worthy condition. Beau dove head first into the job and knocked it out of the park! Car runs great and drives like it came from the factory with a stick shift. I can’t recommend his shop enough if you have a BMW of any vintage!

They worked on my 1982 Mercedes 240d! That Nobody else in Chattanooga area would even try. They did GREAT work!! Knowledgeable!! Finished on time!! Excellent work! I would definitely recommend this German Auto Repair Shop??
