My wife bought me a suitcase from here a couple of days before we went on a cruise. Loaded it up the night before we left and realized one of the wheels was broken, thankfully we still had my old suitcase. Got back from the cruise tried to return it and they we very short tempered to us because we were hoping to return it but didn't have our receipt made you it still had the store sticker on it and the purchase was maybe 10 days previous. Didn't like any part of the interaction will not be going back to Gabes. They don't deserve my money or yours if they are that short with everyone.

Love the stuff they have but they shut off the registers at 940 pm on days they close at 10 pm. Weird...and none of the clothes are sorted.

Today was mine and my wifes first visit to the store as soon as I walked in the store I heard a worker say that a trifling customer left something in the bathroom a short hair black woman young lady she said she was the manager she definitely needs to lose her job so I continued in the store to continue shopping and the lady kept staring me down like she knew me but she didn't I have never known this lady as I was shopping I heard this lady talking about customers how about she was going to get one band today how about how customers that know they're going to steal because they always look at stuff they're not going to buy she's being too loud as I can hear her playing as day should I continue to walk around and past her and as soon as I walked by her and her co-worker turned her head to hang up some clothes she screamed up Sir did you just flip me off I said excuse me she said did you just split me off I said ma'am I don't know what you're talking about because there was a man and a young girl right there by us I never ever even flipped her off I told him to pull the footage and look I never said anything to the lady she's the one that screamed and holler loud for the whole store to hear I believe she had an issue with me because I believe she is very racist I hate to really say that but she had a real problem with me but doesn't even know me my wife asked him to pull the fridge and they would see that I did nothing wrong I did not flip this lady off I did not know what she was talking about I don't know if she was having a bad day or just didn't like my looks or what but I did not flip anyone off and when we tell her to pull the footage they didn't even do it they took her side because she was a worker and didn't give me a chance to say anything it's not fair they don't give the customer a chance explain himself or to even prove why didn't they pull the footage as soon as they pull this food they won't see that she is wrong they will see me just walk by turn around because she started yelling at me for no reason so if they see this review they need to look at the foods and they see that me as the customer did anything wrong this lady needs to be fired and taking her job away from her because she is very rude and has mental problems

Fun place to browse but paying customers should be to priority. There should not be a long line of customers with only one cashier.

I absolutely used to love Gabe's BUT, the clothing departments are a hot mess. I'm all about a Q line but, Gabe's has expanded theirs to the point that it's like walking The Green Mile. Customers don't have the opportunity to truly browse the q line unless you want to constantly let other people past you. That becomes a tight fit with the shopping carts and bodies. Then when you get to check out, the lack of cashiers makes you regret the people that you allowed to pass you. On a positive note, the end of the Green Mile has its advantages, a drink cooler awaits you which is usually poorly stocked,., but, you can find something to wet your whistle while you wait. Now it's a crapshoot if you will get a pleasant cashier or a condescending cashier. God forbid a manager has to come up and run a register. That is the end all do all because their attitude is the absolute worst. Hence, you can understand why the cashier may not have the best personality or attitude.

Incredible bargains! Miracle Suit swimsuits $30, reg 134.99. Under Armour men's shorts 10.99. Tons of USB cables, chargers., etc. with prices like Amazon or less. Love this store.
