I purchased a certified pre-owned truck from them , 2 months later while getting service at another Toyota dealership I found out they only changed the oil and replaced 2 air filters to certify vehicle. They actually skipped 3 services that were Toyota services per owners manual. They overcharge for certified vehicle and now I'm stuck getting required maintenance and paying out of pocket. Very shady way of doing business. Also vehicle needed to be in shop 10 days for TSB repair they ignored prior to sale . Buyer beware .

NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR TRUCK OR CAR HERE FOR SERVICEI brought my tundra here at 10am for a full service. Here I am at 3pm waiting whilst I've watched several people come and go no problem. Horrible customer service, when asked what was taking so long, I was told sorry it's all we can do. Ridiculous... I've had better and after experiences with Take 5 Oil. Never bringing my service here again

After a very disappointing couple of visits I was able to address my issues with Andy and Cory and all issues were addressed and corrected. I believe in giving a fair chance and was glad I went back to talk with them.

This place is a joke!!! We bought a certified used car back in 2019. It took 3 months to get a key fob that we were promised and finally took us going off to get it. Then when I traded that car, I asked for the GAP Insurance refund that the new dealer told me to do. I asked for this back on April 30th and was told 4-6 weeks. I emailed again on June 22nd and 28th and Matt Cruise refuses to respond. I have called and every time I do, he is ironically in a meeting. I asked to speak to his supervisor today and was put on hold and eventually hung up on. This is no way to do business and I hope no one EVER has to deal with this joke of a company in the future. YOU WILL GET SCREWED!!!!!

First of all, after having my Toyota serviced, I drove to the grocery store and it died, would not do anything. I called the service department and asked if they could have accidentally done something. They sent out two guys who told me my battery was completely dead and needed replacement. I pulled out my service receipt and showed them it was just there and asked if they did not check the battery, which was included on the receipt as checked. One of the men told me to look at my battery. It had COB WEBS on it, and had NOT been touched! Then I asked if he thought they really changed the oil, and he looked at it and said there was NO indication that it has been changed. However, he cited the low mileage as a possible reason for that, BUT, I was charged for it! They replaced my battery and got me back on the road, NO CHARGE. Then a few weeks later I went in to buy a new Honda HR-V. To make a long story short, thanks to Bill Caffey, Toyota of Bristol, Johnson City Honda just made a new sale! Next time I want to be treated VERY rudely, and dismissed, I will go back to Toyota of Bristol, (NOT). Johnson City Honda was like a different world. From start to finish, I was at JC Honda about an hour, bought my car and was treated like a king. I was respected, listened to, treated with dignity, and kindness and got the deal I wanted, which was better than even I expected!

Arrived at 9am for appt, ran errands came back at 1130 and didn't leave until 1245. So, took longer than expected. There were several people in waiting area complaining about their wait time too. Overall, great job and I was kept informed by service mgr about the progress. But, would've been nice to have a better timeframe estimate so I could plan better. I was told I'd be there less than two hours. Still, very happy with the service and friendliness.

Very DISHONEST service department and unprofessional management!! Took my vehicle in for an oil change only (did not buy my vehicle at this dealership). Left with a list of things supposedly wrong with it and told it would cost $1,200 to repair. I am smart enough to know to take it for a second opinion so I did. Was told Toyota of Bristol LIED! Surprise, Surprise! Saved $1,200 by not trusting them. When I called to let the service manager know of this, I was told he was not in and sent to the General Manager who was very unprofessional and didn't want to hear the truth, he hung up on me . BEWARE!!!!

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Like some of the other reviews on here, this place is way to unprofessional, Our mistake was ( which I will admit it) buying a used vehicle from them. The vehicle had like 92,000 some miles on it. Not bad for a 13 model, but within the first year, the vehicle was needing a new engine due to a piston failure and making the vehicle use oil like crazy. Every 2 weeks we had to put in at least 2 quarts of oil in it. On top of that, they wouldn't help out by checking to see if we had an warranty on it or if the vehicle was sold "As Is". I tried to stop payments from the lender due to the issues we were having with the vehicle but the lender wouldn't help us out with that either. What ticked us off the most about the whole situation was we traded an older SUV and put $ 4,000 down with the trade for the vehicle and they say it is a "Certified Pre-Owned vehicle" and supposedly passed the inspections to be sold. I don't know how that was possible. A new engine and the labor for it would have been close to $3,500 if not more. Why make a $275 monthly payment and turn around pay for an engine to go in it and still make monthly payments while it is at a shop being worked on. I told the lender just come get it, I wasn't paying for it anymore. It sold at an auction in Knoxville and now the lender is hassling me for the remainder of the lean. I will never buy or even look at another vehicle from them!
