Great hotel but the windows are useless at keeping the interstate noise down. Very loud if road traffic bothers you. Other than that great place to stay.

Great rooms in a very convenient location
Nearby activities: Just across the highway from a ton of shopping and places to eat.

Unfortunstely our stay was due to a family being in the hospital across the street. This hotel meet the comforts we needed, after having to drive 4.5 hrs from SC. Clean and friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast was quite the treat!

When making reservation online, I noted that we were light sleepers and would appreciate a quiet location. When we got to the room we realized we were right across the hall from the ice machine, but decided to give it a shot. After we were in the room we heard quite a bit of road noise including frequent sirens. They had put us on the fifth floor at the northwest end of the building. So not only are we right on the busy freeway, but there is a regional hospital directly across the street. Quiet...not so much!
Safety: Coming out of the hotel parking lot, trying to turn left onto the highway is very dangerous. They is pavement in the divide only at the drive but not a turn lane and traffic both direction is non-stop. Be safe, just make a right and then turn around when you get to the Pinnicle parking lots.

Was just ok. We had a pet friendly room, and it was a little smelly. The hallways had a REALLY strong odor that smelled like a pota potty air freshener. It was soooooo strong that I had to wear a mask just to come in and out because it made my throat hurt. The staff was nice.

Nice generally. Very little counter space in bathroom. No exhaust fan in bathroom (really needs to be addressed). Pillows were SUPER tiny. Breakfast was good-eggs, biscuits, gravy, diced potatoes, juices, etc. Staff friendly and helpful. The interstate noise isn't as bad as some have mentioned. Overpriced a bit.
Safety: Very safe hotel. Security cameras, well lit parking...

20230325 my go to Hampton Inn when I travel down 81!! I stayed in room 224 this time. It's a suite but has no view! It is located in the front part of the hotel right above the lobby. The view was partially blocked by a huge concrete wall. I don't like the suite room layout. I prefer the open space better.
20230323 2nd time staying here and still very pleased with this hotel. The receptionist was very nice. She offered me a choice of peanut better and chocolate chip cookies.
20221203 The hotel feels pretty new. It is located right off 81. If you don't want to hear traffic noise and especially if you are a light sleeper, get a room on the left side of the hotel when facing the front lobby. You can tell where your room is located by the last digit of your room number. My room was 200 and it is located at the further end of the hotel, furthest from 81. If the last digit of your room is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and maybe 5, you are good. As it goes higher, it is located closer and closer to 81. Also, the end where 81 is located is the power/phone lines. If you are sensitive to that, definitely stay away from the side 9f the hotel next to 81.
