“I am leading a military rv travel club along the Blue Ridge Parkway of 19 RV's camping at Shadrack Campground. When I started to leave this morning my airbags would not inflate on my diesel motorhome. I called several companies and they either do not work on airbags or were booked Alpha and Omega was booked too for mobile service but pulled a technician from their shop. Steve came quickly identified the problem as a defective equalizer valve..and I was on my way. Very professional and reasonable price. “I have a 2000 Silverado work truck that has been giving me transmission trouble and I just didn't want to spend 2-3000 for a rebuild. I had another mechanic that I had used in the past but he was a four month wait. When I asked for other recommendations , a good friend said that Brian at Beechwood Auto was the MacGyver of transmissions and reasonable. In the meantime, I purchased a used transmission to replace my sick transmission. This was not going to be a big money Job for Brian and he was honest when he told me that I could install the used transmission but he wanted to run a test and make sure it wasn't a POWER problem. He was the first one that even mentioned this and he said , "because if its a power problem ... and you change the transmissions ... you'll still have a problem". I had some time and nothing to lose. It took a little time but he discovered that a wire was broken in the harness and that a solenoid had come unplugged in the transmission. I picked the truck up, he explained what had happened and apologized for taking so long but I assured him that his bill of 275.00 was a pleasant surprise. I have driven the truck and it is doing well. I appreciate his honesty and more than fair price. I Highly recommend these folks at Beechwood Auto.Service: Transmission”
