You are crazier than hell id you take you vehicle to these bums had my chevy truck trans rebuilt got it back after 2500.00 it started the same thing it was doing took it back my truck sit there for 3 months and finally got it back it still isnt right its leaking and they say they cant so anything because the 6 month warranty is out after they had my truck for over 4 months Lie after lie and now my truck has sat for 5 months and its all because Wayne and so called joke A1 transmission. In fact Im pretty sure they are out of business now. What a rip off !!!!

My experience in this place has not been to my liking. My truck has been there for a month now and they still haven't fixed it. Very bad service.

Done a great job on my transmission rebuild. Took it to Charlotte the day after he finished it and it took the mountain roads real good!

Got my transmission built 2 years ago and it already failed. They didn't even bother to properly secure the wiring harness and glued it in. They also put wrong parts in like the Solenoid which was for the wrong car. Seals also busted out in the torque converter causing a massive leak. IF you have a MANUAL TRANS DON'T BRING IT HERE. Had my car for a month and a half. A lot longer than they said they would have it. Paid for a rebuild and the trans literally feels no better after getting it back. When I first drove it back the clutch catch point was right off the ground which didn't feel right and later found out shouldn't have been. Very bad handy work. Pretty sure they left an engine mount loose. Im hearing thuds when shifting i didn't have before. They couldn't figure out how to put back the shifter arms onto the trans so it was left incomplete. Im still under warranty but I WONT BE GOING BACK.Service: Transmission

Would not recommend had sons truck transmission rebuild took 5 weeks (owners back hurts ,owner sick or parts on back order) when we got it back had rat nest in truck where it set 5 weeks at a1 transmission after picking up truck drove 3 miles driveshaft fell out ?immediately called they told me get wrecker ?bring it back and they would fix it when they came back from vacation? they are going to be closed next week , owner not professional at all I do not recommend and they do not return phone calls I chose to take truck to another shop to get driveshaft repair,,waiting until they come back from vacation was very unacceptable answer they gave me telling me to get wrecker and I have only drove 3 miles down road been gone 5 minutes was unacceptable
