This garden soil is literal trash. There’s pieces of plastic and other random bits of garbage. I’ve never seen anything like it. I even found the plastic tip of a black and mild cigarette. I used to live in Florida and had balcony gardens that I planted in grow bags. I brought that soil with me to TN and the plants grown in that soil are thriving while the plants I placed in this soil are stagnant. I’ve been growing since I was a child and this soil should not be used for growing. I have the mind to have it tested. And this is very upsetting because 2 yards of soil isn’t easy to move from a driveway to the back yard. Now I have to figure out how to dispose of it and I’ve wasted so much time starting from seed only to put it in trash soil. My watermelon is growing at a stagnant pace and honesty I’m afraid to even eat it. This company needs a new supplier.

Three years ago, I bought a pickup truck load of garden soil from them for a new raised bed garden spot. It wasn't cheap. When I was unloading it, I noticed that it had a very strong odor; it smelled like creosote. Everything that I planted in that garden bed died, while the rest of my garden thrived. I hoped it was a fluke and planted that bed again the next spring. Unfortunately, I had the same results. The plants all died again. So I was out the cost of the bad soil, and two year's worth of plants. I called but no one answered the phone. I left a message on their website, but no one called back. My advice to you is if you want dirt, go buy it somewhere else.
UPDATE: I DID CALL and I DID WRITE. Implying that I am a liar is not going to help anything. The garden soil I purchased from you was tainted with something. Somebody threw something into the shredder that should not have been there. It smelled like a phone pole! The plants I tried to grown in your soil would sprout, but were slow to grow, stunted, and then shriveled and died no matter how much I babied them. I had many other garden beds that were fine. I do know how to grow vegetables. I tried adding lots of stuff to it to make it better (cow manure, worm castings, peat moss, organic fertilizers, etc.) and the plants still died. Nothing worked. I finally had to dig all the soil out of the bed with a shovel and replace it. Your snarky reply only makes me less likely to ever shop with you again. PS: Pine is probably not a good idea.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. They will rip you off. They offer no refunds. I ordered 3 yards of filtered dirt and they delivered one yard. This company is running a scam. I measured out the dirt that was delivered and it covers a 8 x 4 area with 1 inch thick. According to natures earth 1 yard will cover a 10 x 10 area 3 inches thick.

I have tried both this and Jones mulch. When I put this Pro mix from Nature's Earth in my garden it was incredibly productive. The following year I use Jones Mulch and I struggled all year to produce anything or grow plants. Once I tested the soil I realized it was very poorly balanced and severely low in nitrogen. Hats off to Nature's Earth because they apparently test their soil like they should before you call it Pro mix. When I'm buying something from a professional provider I don't expect to have to take it home and Doctor it to make it usable as I did with Jones. Thanks for paying attention Nature's Earth
