Do not recommend!! I took my son here as a last resort. We checked in and the app told us a 3 minute wait. When we arrived we were completely ignored (not even a hello) for 30 minutes while the hair dresser swept hair, wiped down the front counters and then ran off to the back so she couldnt be bothered. We ended up leaving without the hair cut. We won’t be returning.
And yes this was the Alcoa, TN location

Updated review: I recently visited Sport Clips in Alcoa for a trim and reshaping. Despite explaining my needs clearly, Kari cut my hair much shorter than I wanted, resulting in uneven bangs and an uneven hairline.
Kari was friendly but seemed distracted, often repeating questions. This, combined with a similar past experience with her, suggests she might need further training.
Sport Clips has since reached out to apologize and address the issue, so I've updated my rating to 3 stars. I appreciate their effort to try and make things right and truly wish Kari the best in her career.

Red has been cutting my hair for a while now. I’m extremely sad she’s leaving. She’s kept my fade tight and up to par. Best shampoo in town! Company is losing a valuable asset.
Requested style: Skin fade with hard part. She also cleans up my eyebrow slants!
Stylist: Red is an amazing stylist, she has a lot of talent and is definitely an asset that will be sorely missed. My hair has never been cut so clean!

Im new to the area and unfamiliar with hair salons as my mom was a hair stylist so I never had anyone else cut my hair. A Girl with long black hair reassured me she has cut womens hair before and im in a good place. I left there looking like Joe exotic. I asked for a simple trim and some layers and she ended up just chopping all my hair off basically. I had to go to great clips the next day and get it blended and we had to take off majority of the length as the girl at sports clips cut literal holes in my hair and thinned the back of my hair. I feel silly going there as a woman now but the reassurance I was getting and what I left with didnt match. My birthday is sunday and this is a literal nightmare. I dont reccommend coming here as a woman and dont let them tell you "youre in a good place" or try to reassure you they cut womens hair. They do not.

If you get your hair cut here, be prepared to roll the dice on getting it botched. I’m guessing the girl we got was new. We’ve neverr had a haircut this bad. She cut his sideburns completely off and crooked! Couldn’t even get a straight line across the top. I called and asked to speak to the manager, they took my number down but never gave me a call back. Had to pay for another haircut elsewhere the next day and get a skin fade because we were so embarrassed. My husband has switched over to Gents Hair Parlor and I’ll start taking our son there. Also the place smells like a sewer and they’ve said they fixed the problem from other reviews but clearly have not.

All I asked for was a low taper fade and she cut all the side and even more than I asked and she jacked up the back it’s uneven I won’t be coming back unless Daniel is here

I'm assuming horrible management. Been going to this location for about 3 years and have yet to have or even see the same stylest more than once. You're gambling with every single haircut.
