I like Lowes and I do a good bit of shopping there but the only thing I don't like about the store is the self check out. I hate them.

Customer Service is not great and rather aggravating. it takes getting through a menu that does not allow for an option to just get you to customer service. Then it takes getting transferred 4-5 times before getting someone on the line that can actually help and that is if you do not get hung up on, which has happened more than once.
If you are in the store, the experience is better, but we should not have to go in to the store for every issue, when a simple and QUICK phone call should be able to take place. As a business owner, this wastes my time...a lot of it. I have been trying for 2 days to get my issue resolved, still nothing.
Reply...I have called, as stated above. Finally got ahold of a manager who sounded like she was actually going to help. She asked if she could call me back after tracking down some information. I agreed. I'm still waiting. That was 6 days ago.

Whatever you do don't use their contractors services...they do not honor their agreements, poor craftsmanship, horrible responses to complaints. They left bolts halfway out. Split wood. Cabinet installation took over a year. You would be better off using Gypsy contractors

Always have a welcoming experience here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The store is always nice and neat. The garden center is my favorite. When we got mulch this spring they were very helpful with loading.

Staff is friendly and can tell when people want to be left alone, which is nice.
However, not much for electricians and other people running wire on the residential side. No 2', 3' or 4: "flex" bits like most other Lowe's and HD will have, no magnetic wire pullers, glow rods are super expensive for what you're getting and they don't have RCA connectors. Better off ordering online or going to a city electric supply for these things.
