We enrolled our daughters in the homeschool class and couldn't be happier! They're learning discipline, self respect and teamwork through multiple styles of martial arts from knowledgeable, kind and encouraging coaches. The family atmosphere has been wonderful to experience and we're thrilled with the opportunity to grow with the academy. The space is always sanitized, organized and welcoming. It's an extraordinary place for the entire family to join.

Great coaches and a great atmosphere! Everyone is very friendly and respectful no matter your experience level. Ethos is a great place to start and develop along your martial arts journey. Do not be afraid to test the waters and see if you’re a good fit with a couple of free trial classes.

Great place for adult and children, instructors are patient and knowledgeable. With many different styles of martial arts available, not only do they want individuals to grow in what they choose, safety is also focused on. Would highly recommend for anyone to check Ethos Combatives out.

We have been amazed at the family and community-oriented atmosphere at Ethos! Our entire family has enjoyed training here for both self defense as well as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. This was our family’s first experience with martial arts and we were instantly hooked! I would highly recommend meeting the coaches and training here!

I love this place! The staff and members are all great. The diversity of training, and times is awesome. Felt welcome and encouraged from day one. Highly recommend, for all ages, abilities, and experience.

Absolute wonderful atmosphere for children to learn self defense moves as well as an understanding on what to do in tough situations. This comes with having wonderful people to teach & explain these things to help with life lessons. Thank You Team At Ethos!! ☺️

Nathan and Adrian run one of those most professional, respectable martial arts studios in the upstate. The level of attention and quality of instruction is like training one on one, because no matter how large the class is they take the time to work individually with every student to encourage them to perfect their moves. I also had a great laugh and learned alot working with Coach David. Everyone gets to know each other and treats everyone like family. You will not be disappointed!!

Welcoming, knowledgeable staff!Was in town visiting family and found this place.Had a great experience. I appreciate that the staff was able to adapt to teach beginners (like me) and other students that clearly had more experience (basically everyone else, haha).

I LOVE ETHOS COMBATIVES. I cannot put into words the gratitude for the relationships I have built here. I’ve moved states and had to leave this wonderful place behind, but the people here would literally do anything for you.I took Jiu Jitsu classes and had an absolute blast. It was difficult, fun, and inspiring. Nathan and Adrian do their absolute best to make you feel like even on the bad days, you’re worth it and you’re doing great.I owe this place so much more than a five star review.Also that one star review they got from some person named “Lux” seems a bit irrational and crazy to me… @me lux. Leave ethos alone, they are too good for you.

Not professional. Many times I was the only one in class and I was made to feel like an inconvience. I experienced the following behavior during my class time, but never observed it during the more popular classes that had many attendees or with classes where parents stayed to observe: the owner taught class while sitting on a yoga ball, left me alone during class and at the academy to get in his car and chase down a FedEx truck, and answered personal calls in the middle of class. The final straw was the blatant disrespect when I inquired about a partial refund for the multitudes of classes canceled during my billing period (often with very little notice, once only three minutes notice!). In the end, I called out the disrespect and politely said I would cancel when my billing date ended. I was met with a response that I was kicked out immediately because me stating I wanted to cancel was an act of hostility (Google won't let me post photos of this text chain here, but they are there on the Ethos Facebook page reviews for your viewing pleasure). Other groups I am a part of take criticism and use it to grow, this one takes criticism and uses it to deflect and defame.This business owner doesn't seem to know when to stop. I wish he would just leave me alone but now he's texting me again to insult me (again, see the Facebook reviews).I have saved all the owner's deleted responses which seems to constitute as cyberbullying/harassment. His latest response of only slightly taking a stab at my character is amongst the nicer. Hopefully this trend continues so I don't have to envolve local law enforcement. I wrote an honest review of my experience, I do not deserve the backlash I recieved. All. Day. Long.
