Had a sensor replaced in my generator. Worked completed satisfactorily. Dave Service writer was nice and explained everything. Tammy service manager explained the needed service and cost. Would recommend this Spartanburg, SC location over any other. Cummins, you pay for the name, but, I am satisfied with the repairs. Gary

After a suspicious oil leak was found in my CAC piping during preventative service at Freightliner for my motor home I called This Cummins service center. They were able to fit me in same day, diagnose the problem with my turbo and have me back on the road in 3 hours for just over 100 bucks with confidence my engine is working as designed. The 50 amp Rv hookup was a bonus while we waited.Honest hardworking golf’s at this Cummins center. My first experience with Cummins and I am beyond pleased.

Our brand new (75 hours) Cummins/Onan generator stopped working with no warning or fanfare. We were on the road for an extended family visit and unfamiliar with the area.We found the Spartanberg Cummins, drove there after hours and waited for the shop to open in the morning.Like all shops they were completely booked, but Dave worked us in before lunchtime. They identified the problem and Amanda explained the repairs required, but warned us of potential issues with parts availability. Being on a schedule, we decided to have them forward their analysis to our home Cummins facility in Oklahoma City so we could finish our planned trip and have the repairs completed there.Had timing not been an issue, we would have preferred to have Spartanburg complete the repairs. This is an outstanding facility with a clear focus on professionalism and customer service.Well done!

A pleasant, professional, and efficient operation. Provides electric hookup for a couple RVs for the likely overnight stay.

Parts department never answers the phone and I have had nothing but horrible service provided every time I've dealt with this Cummins location. I will not be returning if I can help it.

Parts front desk person needs more training. Doesn't know much about parts of DPF/DEF systems.

Had a Check Engine light come on while traveling in our Newmar Motorhome last month. Called this service center as we already had a chassis service appointment at Freightliner in Gaffney for this week. The service advisor looked up the code and said we should be ok to drive it and got us an appointment for the day after our Freightliner service. Dave checked us in and we spent the night with electric service in their lot. The morning of our appointment they took the Coach in and the Service Manager called me after lunch. She described in detail the steps they had taken to troubleshoot the code and she was convinced there is nothing wrong with the Coach. They could have thrown several thousand dollars in parts in it but she didn’t believe that was necessary. 3 hour drive home and no issues. Nice to find a service center where everyone was pleasant and professional.

Dave and the team were so kind and accommodating. We were anxious about having the service done and they took their time to reassure us that the bad experiences we have had elsewhere would not occur with them. Would highly recommend! Great experience!

My Onan QD8000K genset up and out of the blue quit running. My Wife & I were on on way to Mt. Airy, NC to pick our son up from camp. The plan was then to embark on a 7 week trip from NC to SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, TX, OK, KS, NE, SD, IA, MO, AR, TN, AL then back to Florida. Can you imagine this trip with no genset (no A/C)??? I pulled into the Spartanburg Cummins Service Center around 11:00 AM on Friday, July 2 (holiday weekend). I spoke with the Service Manager, Dan. I told him my situation and my issue (fault code 33/36). Dan proceeded to tell me his Gen Tech was booked solid until Tuesday (closed Monday). He did however call the Charlotte location for me to see what their status was...two week backlog! Dan picked up on my distress and said, "let's go take a look at it". After just one attempt to start the Onan, Dan stated, "it's starved for fuel, when is the last time you changed the fuel filter"? I said at the last service last year (about 150 hours). "Well, it still could be a clogged filter, I have the filter but I don't have anyone to install it". I told Dan I could install it myself if I had a drain pan (he even offered me tools). Now to shorten the story up...25 minutes later, I had the new fuel filter installed (with Dan's assistance...in the parking lot) and after about 45 seconds of priming...she fired right off and purred like a kitten!!! Did Dan have to call Charlotte for me...NO! Did Dan have to go outside and look at the Onan with me...NO! Did Dan have to get me a drain pan...NO! Did Dan have to offer his assistance...NO! Did Dan have to do anything other than say, "I can help you Tuesday"? Dan in Spartanburg and his Cummins Service Centers are HEROS to the RV community. If you are EVER in the area and need service, GO SEE DAN and HIS TEAM!!! AAAA++++
