The shops mechanics are some of if not the best in Spartanburg. I had issues with my MDX that one of the service techs immediately diagnosed with startling accuracy. These guys are a 10/10

I had a shop in Savannah install a Jasper transmission, and it failed as soon as I got back to Spartanburg. Cook’s was able to work with Jasper and they helped me with the warranty, got a new one quickly and had me going again in 4 days. Great work. Great communication. I recommend them.

The guys over here are amazing at what they do. Super polite and professional and make sure they go above and beyond for the customer. I brought my truck in from an hour and a half away. They pulled me right in for a DOD and converter programming and had me out of the door in 30 minutes. Would highly recommend Cooks Transmission to anyone looking for any sort of work on their vehicles!

Very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism! I took my 2015 Chevy Silverado to them and not only did they rebuild the transmission they explained to me why the transmission failed in the first place. A+++++ service and in a timely manner too! I will go only to them and their Automotive Service shop for now on for all of my auto repairs and services.

Love the guys at Cooks. Took my 2020 F 150 to them that needed a new transmission. The guys got the transmission ordered, called me when it was in and got me in and out in 2 days. Dylan was awesome and everyone I interacted with was extremely professional. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any type of transmission work done.

I had my transmission replaced here at cooks in November of 2023. My truck been running great and it came with 3yrs/100k warranty. Great service and great people.

Brought my chevy work van to get the transmission computer tuned so that it wouldn't prematurely wear out the torque converter. The Cook team did a great job and got me in and out fast. I had made an appointment ahead of time, and as soon as I got there they pulled the van right into the shop. Highly recommend them.

Today they reprogrammed the TCM to prevent future failures to my 6I80e Transmission and also did an oil change as I was overdue for one. I have been using this shop and their sister shop advantage for the past 2 years and they do a phenomenal job every time. As a female, I feel like they talk to me as a person and tell me the truth about what is going on with my Truck. (Unlike other shops I have been to that see me as a female and automatically assume I know nothing about trucks and try to scam me out of unnecessary things). They are always very thorough and take their time. Both shops continue to exceed my expectations. If you are looking for a nice family-owned shop in the area that isn't run by a major corporation this is your go-to place. This shop treats you like family and their customer service is one of a kind.
