The cashier couldn't do simple math for change... She had to ask a manager for help. ? The overweight manger was very unprofessional and wanted to fight because I was angry about having to wait until my cashier was done ringing up the next person for my change. I'll never come back to this establishment again! Very ghetto!!! Go to food Lion where their employees can do math and managers treat customers with respect.

They have good food but the customer service is awful while getting food from the bar…I asked for my meat that came along with my meal to be placed on a separate plate because I dont like my meats to be piled on top of my food to get soggy…they charged me full price for my meal that was supposed to include the meat and then charged me for my meat separately also when the MEAL COMES WITH A MEAT!!! And then the old ladies in the kitchen cooking and the ones serving are rude, snappy, and act like the food is going home with them at the end of the shift, in there rolling there eyes and mouths all twisted up with attitudes …I’ve never seen a crew tell paying customers how they should get their plates made(the guy with the dreads too)…and then upcharged them for not wanting it messily and nastily piled up on one plate

Shopped there yesterday while staying in Santee. As soon as you walk into the store there is a foul, stale stench that remains as you shop, in the whole store. I only bought milk and paper products and left. The smell was just too much. This store needs a good -top to bottom - cleaning. I finished shopping at the Food Lion on Rt 15.

I went in there today on my way home from work and for the most part I like the store it’s clean and always stocked but the lady who rang me out today was horrible she had a plastic grocery bag on her head didn’t greet me when I came up into the line rang up my stuff I had two big jars one of Mayo and one of mustard and a 20lb box of chicken she didn’t even put them on the other side of the counter for me to put back in my cart I had to go back to the front and pick them up and carry them to my cart and she didn’t even wait for me to get my stuff before she rang up someone else . Very rude and not good customer service at all I stop at this store a good bit because it’s on my way home from work but I will not be back and think they new help

This place is horrible.Fresh is not a word I would use to describe this store more like dated bulding. The produce was wilted the meat was a funny brown color .poor selection of items2 check out lines were open the younger people were talking were annoyed we checked out 2 items and kept there conversation going during the transition.I can see why there was only 2 other cars in the parking lot I dont ser this place being open much longer

What an unbelievable (positive) experience!!! My order came to $10.83. I gave the checker $11.00. She thought I had given her $10.00. Rather than ask me for an additional $1.00, she pulled out a dollar bill from her OWN pocket. I corrected her and asked for a recount. She then saw that I had given her more than the full amount. I was speechless….this young woman was going to give me money from her own pocket! Wow……Talk about incredible customer service. I was thrilled that the manager allowed me to give her a “tip” for her kindness.

I am an over the road truck driver who has been turned down from several fast food places because of only the drive thru being open. With my truck I can't drive thru and was not permitted to walk the drive thru lane. I checked with IGA and could not have ask for nicer people. Who served me and we're very pleasant to talk to. The deli staff went out of there way to be nice. Also the food was much better than I am use to from fast food. IGA you have a new customer and I thank you.

Great store. They have everything from chicken feet to chicken feed and deer corn too. Vegetable and meat were fresh.
