I had so much trouble out of this store upon purchasing a Frigidaire refrigerator years ago. Service sucks here at this store!!! Long waits in store, you have to run down employees and when you do they have no idea about whatever department you need help in!!. I would rank the store .5 if I could.

This place is always my go to place for needed household items, especially for outdoor stuff.

Stopped here on the way home from the MD appointment. We Pinky night a couple of items. The store was cleaned and had the items we needed. Compared to the Lexington SC stores, this store was excellent

I came to Lowe’s two times today. The first time I wanted to purchase a chain saw. I wanted help to be sure I was selecting something I could use. I asked an employee who was helping someone else if he could call someone to help me because this employee was holding a personal conversation with the customer he was helping and I had already waited patiently for about 10 minutes. I waited a long period of time and just gave up because no one ever came. I went to flooring because I needed some mortar to put down some tile. I asked someone for help and of course that person couldn’t because they didn’t work in this department so she called someone. I waited and waited and again no one came. I came back later for the mortar and still couldn’t get any help. This store’s employees are absolutely ridiculous and don’t care anything about customer service. What’s the purpose of having all these employees walking around the store if none of them are helping customers!

They should close the doors. You won't find anyone willing to help you find anything, that's if you can find someone

Would love to give a five star review, but it seems like every visit to this Lowes in Orangeburg seems to provide inferior and inadequate service. Each time, we promise to never return to ORANGEBURG LOWES. We lose SO MUCH time when we go here. It is never a go in and get your items, pay and leave, as many times the items we need are not to be found and getting help from employees there is like a part-time job for us. Asked several people for help and they all were too busy. One guy started helping us and then someone else asked him for help so he called another worker to help that customer and then he walked off from us. The only redeeming element of this trip to Lowes was the cashier Brandi as she was cheerful, polite, and friendly when she rang us up. Each time we go, we promise we won't return, but for convenience, we make the 45 minute drive. In the future, we may just drive an hour and a half to any of the other Lowes as we can count on quality and helpful service. For whatever reason, this Lowes seems to employ workers who don't really want to work, help, or even be there. It is a shame, as we know this isn't the case with all the employees, but c'mon, every experience shouldn't be an unpleasant one and waste of our time, right?

the store and the parking lot are trashed and the garden center today I learned has the laziest workers in it. They refused to help load Picketts then joked about not helping. I will not be back to the store after, spending thousands of dollars each day on materials. The last thing a company wants is a trashy store and workers who really don’t care.

This is a good location since things are fairly easy to find, aisles are pretty organized, well-stocked for the most part. Comparing this location to other ones we've been to as well as their competitors, we've seen much worse and we've seen better.
We live about 45 mins away and have a choice of going to different big-box hardware stores, and would likely return to this one if needed.
What we prefer about other Lowes and their competitors, is that there seem to be more team members available. If needed at this location, if we can't find something or need some advice, there is frequently a lack of staff. And those staff members we do find, often seem to have a poor attitude (they come across as if we're bothering them, as if they're bored, don't have basic customer service skills, greeting or manners etc).
There was a young lady yesterday in the garden center check out who was more concerned about a private conversation on her air-pods, than interacting with us/customers. Several times I said something (how are you... how much is this... other questions...), she just looked at me, did not respond to me, but responded to the person on her phone, until I flat-out asked her if she could help me or I could wait until she was done her conversation. So that affects my review for sure.
Lots of parking, clean and maintained parking lot that feels pretty safe both day and night.
Bathrooms are okay, pretty clean when we go there, and everything is very wheelchair accessible.
Again, something to be said for the way the store areas themselves seem to be well-maintained/organized.

Rika in the paint department was very helpful and professional and Melissa was very courteous at the door if only all other stores had staff that professional.

Did realize that Lowes has stopped giving military discounts on lumber. Don't know what else they removed from military discount...
Wonder if Home Depot has also.
