I arrived at this store on May 16th at 5:04 PM. While I was in line, a lady got out of the line to go look at something. I moved up, but when the lady came back, she skipped ahead of me and said some rude words. the cashier (she was black, short, chubby with short blonde dreads) started to laugh and rang the lady who skipped ahead. I thought that was extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend this location at all.

Bravo to Danny! He has the best customer service that I have encountered at a Dollar General anywhere. If he lived in Georgia, my wife said she would hire him to work at our company!

Jody greeted me with a smile and eye contact when I entered the Dollar General Store at 2000 N. Kings Highway, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He then offered assistance. I asked him if he had any sliced potatoes, and Jody kindly escorted me to the item. He then said to let him know if he could further assist. Jody also helped me find some chicken broth. He was a great help today, and I truly appreciate the kind and professional attitude Jody exhibited. I recommend this Dollar General store and Jody to family and friends.

Was there today at 9:52 doors were locked website said they closed at 10 PM why are they closing 10 mins early, this is ridiculous

Walked in with a box of krispey Kreme doughnuts, cashier said loud enough for me to hear her 4 isles away,” M F comes in here and didn’t offer me a doughnut, promptly left and will not shop at any dollar general store again but in this economy that’s the only kind of people they can get I suppose

I understand labor shortages, but why do they post hours until 10pm then have a worker at the door at 9:45 telling people they are closed? Unreliable.

Overall a good experience. I stopped in a couple days ago and they had everything I needed. Cashier was friendly. It was a quick in and out shopping trip.
