Jack seem like a nice man the price was reasonable the reason I'm giving through only three stars is because I took almost a week they do a clutch and a valve cover gasket battery was dead when I went to pick it up that was really was no big deal but the exhaust crossover pipe not bolted to the exhaust manifold and they did not have the nuts for it hour later I'm on my way I finally got to work late and when it's time for lunch there is oil underneath have the bolts on the valve cover were never eaten tightened not even a snug I turned them by hand cuz I called and told him jack did say to bring it back today or tomorrow morning and he will fix it but I cannot drive it like that I fixed it myself well it could be 100 good jobs and that one bad job and maybe this was that one bad job I will never find out

JB's transmission and auto repair they are awesome. They listen to you. Thank you for the job well done. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Mr Jack and his mechanics take time to talk to you let you know exactly what needs to be done I tell them talk to me like 'I'm a two-year-old'. it's refreshing to know you have some mechanics that won't take you to the bank being a female if you don't know you could be spending a lot of money but at JB's transmission and auto repair they are fair honest very professional almost like family.

This is the Butlers again, and this is January 22, 2024.A little over 4 years ago JB's or Mr Brown's Transmission replaced our 2009 Honda Ridgeline's Transmission, with a used one, it was in desperate need of replacement.And as we mentioned before Mr Brown's team did an excellent job replacing that Transmission!!We travel alot!!! *many* miles were put on that replacement by us. Now that Transmission has retired/died.?Anywho, we had our Ridgeline towed to a mechanic, recommended by a friend, over sixty miles from us, but there was no way our budget could afford the charge quoted after accessing the job.So, once again considering Mr Brown, we called, told him our troubles, had the Ridgeline towed to him, and now we will get another replacement priced within our budget?The work has not be done yet, but we look forward to the skilled craftsmanship of Mr Brown's team and years of experience!!We should have our baby back home driving us around town hopefully by January 29th?****************Below an old post.Our 2009 Honda Ridgeline has been jerking for a good while, we needed to see if it was the transmission. Another place was recommended to us first, taking it there they we're closed, we looked across the street and saw JB's Transmission, how very very fortunate we saw that business!!! It took a while to get the necessary parts for the transmission but this team of dedicated skilled mechanic did an excellent job! They wondered how in the world the truck drove all that time before we brought it to them.

They quickly diagnosed the issue and were very straightforward about what needed fixing and they quickly took care of it. I appreciate their honesty and that they aren’t looking to take advantage of someone with minimal knowledge on cars. My car is driving so much better now; it feels brand new! Seemed like an honest guy. Everyone I’ve talked to said he does good work for an honest price. I, however, wasn’t able to use his services because he doesn’t have a lift big enough to handle a long bed, crew cab, one-ton truck.

Had a transmission rebuilt. Installed. Wouldn’t move. Asked for help. They refused. Ignored completely. Didn’t care. Very rude. Was cursed out: I would never do business with them again.

I was moving from Florida earlier that morning when my transmission started acting up. I called a Firestone in the area and told me they did not have the resources to work on my transmission but recommended me to JB's. I had a horrible move and Jack and the staff was the only part that went smoothly. They took my car promptly despite being extremely busy and were kind and communicative through the process.Service: Transmission

Was gonna replace my transmission myself but in order to keep the 5yr 100k warranty valid it needed to be done at a transmission shop. I prefer local businesses so I decided to let these guys give it a go. Dropped my truck off after hours Friday. Someone was nice enough to stay late for me to do so. They had quite a few cars up there so I expected a wait before I got it back. No sir. Got it back in 3 business days. Thanks gentleman, will be coming back for future repairs that are out of my hands.
