One of the most poorly ran stores I have ever seen. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. They are closed half the time during posted supposedly open hours. Aisles are blocked with trash and there's hardly ever anyone at the check out register. Dollar General should be ashamed to put their name on this store.

This store is nasty and dirty,,, complete filthTrash all over the floors and shelves trash and clutter in the isles and not from deliverys it needs a hazmat to come in

We live behind the store and come here often, my kids are able to use a walking trail behind store to get all there snacks and candies. This store is is in the heart of the town of lexington and is the worst kept store. I wish this was not the case. Store is always closed, dirty, and not stocked. Today after a long rd trip we stop in just to get dog food. They yell through the store we're closed as me and my 6yr old son are in.I already have dog food in my hand, and they refuse to sell me the dog food. I explain I can leave the cash, or honor system as I'm a regular living less than 2 football fields away. I walk out with dogfood in hand. New Young kid yells at me I can't come back.This was the straw that broke the camels back for me.I am asking for corporate/regional manager to reach out to me. I would like to see this place be turned around for good not a bandaid closing for days at a time. Hoping it will be better next time. If dollar general honestly cares about there customers they will try and make things right and look forward to a response to this review.

Went last night 2 girls outside smoking when I get out of my car the go inside lock the door. They could have just told me they are closed. Also, instead of taking time to smoke why don't you clean up the store a little? It's a total wreck!

Why is it every time I go to the store, it's closed. If you have an emergency and you need something quick, this store is not the place to go as the doors are frequently closed.

They have been closed for the past 2 days with no sign or notice I have children and I get them all out of the car and ready just to get to the door that's locked no sign and with all the lights on!

Needs an "OPEN" sign that can be seen from the road to deter customers from turning in. This store is closed so often during their "open hours" it's ridiculous.
