I was literally checking out at Walmart so I called Murphys to make sure they are still open and if they still have the cigarette deals (they do have the cigarette deals), so I told the woman I was walking out Walmart and driving right across the parking lot to get the cigarettes, gas, etc. As I pull up to the gas pump that’s in front of the door where she is currently standing (making EYE contact), She IGNORED me and 2 other customers by going into the bathroom to clean it.
It is 10:30pm and they close at 12am.

6 PM on a Saturday night and a sign on the door says closed at 5:30. What is this? This is definitely not the first time. What kind of business closes early constantly like this? I frequent this store but this is getting ridiculous!

The store in Hartsville SC never opens at the time it is supposed to. She is always at least 30 minutes late. I spend a lot of money at this store and just would overlooked it not opening up on time but now I am sick of it. I am sitting in the parking lot now and it is 6:30am, she is here but the door is locked.

I was pleased with my visit. My cashier was very nice, she made my day and I had a good laugh ?. The supervisor on shift was also very helpful.

March 14th 2019 around 1:30 I went in to Murphy's in Hartsville with my son..my mom went in earlier and got me a Coffee Monster energy drink but got wrong flavor when she brung it to me so I immediately went back to just simply exchange it for the one i originally wanted well obviously that was a problem bc the cashier (didn't get her name) but we'll call her "ms attitude" was rude and said that drink didn't come from here she never saw me and was getting loud..of course she didn't see me my mom went in. She is lucky i kept my mouth shut. Its not like I wanted money back i just wanted a different flavor. She was a flat out rude b****!! I will never go there again as long as she is working there. There were 2 younger black women working and the other let me exchange it with no problem. The other should not be in cutomer service at all!!!! Not a people person..flat out rude and nasty!!!

Do not get gas here. I got gas here on a Friday afternoon, tried to go shopping on Saturday and my car would not run. Found out there was water in the gas. Already spent over $200 on a gas filter, 02 sensor, plugs, coil and boots. Emptied full gas tank, still having issues. Going to have to get new injectors and fuel pump and labor which will be several hundred dollars more. If I could give no stars I would. While I was in Advance Auto buying parts, another person came in with the same problem, this person had also gotten gas from Murphy's in Hartsville. Only go here if you want problems with your vehicle.

I was in line as I watched one of the cashier's refuse a sale of ciggerettes because all the man had was his military ID and said she could not except it as a form of identification. Pretty pathetic how I've seen some rough looking (intoxicated) people buy alcohol there but they wouldn't sell a military veteran a pack of cigarettes.
