When I walked into the Bassett Home Furnishings at 773 Haywood Road in Greenville, I was fortunate to have Janice Lachman offer her assistance. As a Design Consultant, she understood my tastes and made her recommendations accordingly. She then came to my house to view the den for our best and final decisions. Janice did not try to sell me all new furniture but kept those that fit within our vision. I was so impressed that I decided to redesign my living room. She was here for the delivery to ensure the best possible arrangement. Janice even brought paint cards so we could choose the best color to accentuate the room. I am very happy with the final results.
The extent of Janice's knowledge was so great that I was curious about her professional background and did some research. Janice has a BFA in Textile Design from Syracuse University. She was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship in Textile Design and traveled throughout Asia for 2 years researching textiles. Following this, she worked for Scala Manche, SPA and J.T. Stevens in New York City for 14 years. Janice worked the next 14 years as an Interior Designer for top retailers before relocating to South Carolina.

This weekend, I walked into Bassett Furniture just to browse their outdoor furniture selection. Michele, an incredibly friendly and helpful staff member, approached me and let me know she was available if I needed any assistance.
I mentioned that I was just browsing, but soon had some questions about how the furniture would hold up outdoors. Michele was fantastic she answered all my questions and even helped me by looking at pictures of my current backyard to suggest what would work best. Her expertise didn’t stop there; she also assisted me in picking out an outdoor rug that perfectly complements my patio.
Working with Michele was a delightful experience. She made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. I’m so impressed with her service that I plan to return later this fall to get her help in redesigning my living room.

I have worked with Diana San Miguel for 9 years and four different homes in three different states. She is exceptional- both in design and customer service. I have recommended her to both my sister and daughter. Diana is a true professional and I will continue to work with her in the future.

I had purchased a new bed from Bassett several months ago. We were thrilled with our purchase. A few after receiving this item, we noticed an issue with one of the support legs causing the storage drawer to close improperly. I had reached back to customer service contact center in addition to our design consultant, Michele.
After a few weeks of some run around and a follow up call to Michele, she acted swiftly and diligently to ensure our product met the expectations we had at point of sale.
Additionally, Michele, fought for a full replacement of the product and an expedited replacement service.
We do enjoy our bed and feel the original issue with the foot was a mishap. Our new product has exceeded expectations and appreciate their commitment to our customer service experience.

My experience at Bassett was excellent. My sales person, Michele, worked with me to select just the right fabrics that complemented each other and could hold up to the constant company that I have at my lake house. The two chairs and couch that I purchased were delivered in a timely manner and are of excellent quality. I love my Bassett furniture and would purchase it again.

Dianna was a fantastic designer. She had great vision and helped me coordinate new furniture with items I was keeping. She was very patient and kind as I changed my mind multiple times! I purchased a leather couch and loveseat, a fabric swivel chair and ottoman, and a rug. It is all very lovely and high quality. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend Bassett and Dianna to anyone looking for furniture.

Amazing service. We have been working for weeks on a new home in Greenville, South Carolina and the product and the service are fabulous. We could not be more pleased with our beautiful surroundings. The personalize design work is by far the best. Thank you, Elena for turning our home into a beautiful showplace. We are not finished but continue to work diligently to have the finished product that we are so looking forward to.
I would certainly recommend Bassett for a makeover or starting from scratch.

Every room in my house has been furnished by Basset. Diana San Miguel helped choose the furniture and drapes for all rooms. Without her expertise it wouldn't have been possible. She is easy to work with and has done a wonderful job. It was a good experience from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with the results.
