Imagine a war museum in the state of South Carolina (where Dixie began) not having a Confederate flag of any kind flying out front along with all the other flags. Insulting.

Very nice museum. It welcomes military donations of any kind from any war. A great reminder for all to see what brave men and women did to secure our freedom. Thank you

After passing by many times, had a chance to visit here today. The two Veterans who were here as guides were very kind and took great pride in sharing the history here with me. Incredible things to see and very thought provoking. Lots to learn all around. Certainly a prime place to bring children and any friends and family who love our nation and cherish its military history.

The museum is part of their main meeting hall. Super friendly staff and a full collection of war memorabilia from the Revolutionary War to the Gulf War. It takes about 20 minutes to walk through, and if you want to chat with a veteran, you can easily spend 45 minutes here. This is a free museum is staffed as a courtesy by volunteers veterans on weekends. The negative review is unwarranted, as their hours are posted on their website and on the street sign.
